DIY Sun & Moon Mirror Polymer Clay- The Gypsy & The Witch
Please join me as I share how I created this Polymer Clay Sun & Moon Decorative Wall Mirror .. I used Polymer Clay, Cardboard and a compact mirror to create this beautiful piece that can be used decoratively for an Autumn Equinox /Mabon/Harvest Celebration or left up year round. This is a very simple, fun project appropriate for kids of all ages (with supervision when warranted). Peace & LOVE

Omgosh Cali that is so beautiful, creative, and amazing,and awesome. I would love to do this for my oldest daughter that's the theme for her and her baby's father. He passed away just recently so my granddaughter Victoria doesn't have a daddy she will be 3 on December. Yeah... But I would love to surprise her with this artwork. ☮💜🙋💞💞

I love this! I found some multi colored suns I'm guessing was from a windchime. I hung them up in my bathroom for some decor in my very plain bathroom. I would love to make something like this as well. I love your projects Cali they're very inspiring.

Oh my Cali, your talent is never ending, I have seen similar in shops around the UK and none compare to how magnificent yours is. I think I have said before I live nr Pendle Hill in Lancashire where the famous Lancashire Witches lived and you would ace owning a shop there, especially with it being all handmade. It is so funny you ask me that, because I actually do have a package for you that was supposed to be there in time for your birthday!! So no...sadly, that one is not from me!! You had mentioned in a video that your bday was Sept. 6th...I had something I'd been wanting to send you, so thought that would be the perfect time! It has been sitting here since, as I've not had chance to take it into the P.O! I have my 92 yr old grandmother here with me, I care for her 24/7 (I wouldn't have it any other way) she has the beginnings of dementia. My Aunt takes her once in a while to give me a lil break, but she has been gone since last week of August! When I have been out granny is with me, and I can't leave her in the car to run in! The other day you showed love mail and I was like ughhhhh, mine should be there lol! (Then getting this note from you, I almost fell out my chair)! I'm sorry it's no longer a surprise, and a bit late!! It will be on the way next week though finally, as my Aunt should be back in town Monday or Tuesday! When it does arrive, you are more than welcome to open on video if you'd like!! Tis from Loki and me lol! I told you about granny in the letter that's in your box, sorry it will be a repeat now! All that to tell you the package isn't from me lol!! You can't tell I don't get out much....can you!?! Teehee! Hope you and Tom have a wonderful weekend! So much love, and many many blessings! 💜

Soak it in a dish of 90% rubbing alcohol it’s safer so that you don’t burn yourself I use the alcohol to remove backings off of dollar store mirrors that I turn into wall art The backings just snap off with a flat screw driver after The rubbing alcohol loosens the glue It won’t harm the mirror as I also use it to clean them after I glue a project it wipes it clean

OMG, I love it! I haven't gotten into the bake clay....but enjoyed watching you do the process. Wonder if it would work with the air dry clay, do you think? Just love it!

I loved this! When I tried to put the clay pieces together they didn’t stay together, I even rolled a little. So when I cut the design it fell apart and cracked along the edges when I tried to mold the clay around the sun. Can you tell me what I did wrong. I finally gave up and didn’t put the back clay on. I baked it and it came out pretty good but has no back clay. Can you tell me how to make the clay pieces stay together and not crack when trying to mold? Thank you so much! 😻

Hi Jacque, thanks so much for watching and commenting ...I am sorry that you didn't have better luck with this.....what type of clay are you using??? Also, you can try adding a little "Bake n bond", liquid sculpey or plain PVA glue to help adhere the clay to the cardboard...it sounds to me like your clay is the problem though...let me know, Peace & Love
