Well Thank you sir ! I think I will test this on my TTO2 ! hopefully all the foam and mudguard will help keeping the inside clean when I'll throw it into garden grass action ^^
Hey I have the same body, wheels and those pirelli tyres on a tb01 chassis and I made the inner mudguards like you have! Great minds think alike👍 your body mount idea is great, why didn't I think of that🤔
Very effective solution. This also should eliminate the annoying plastic rattle on traditional body fitments. I love the Xsara. I’m currently assembling mine and I wonder where did you source the gorgeous lights cups? Cheers!
Looks nice but what I'm wondering is, once you made the bodywork (foam etc.) will it fit all bodies? or will you need to custom make a new one every time you want to put on a diffrent body?
usually I custom make the foaming for one body，so the chassis and body basically pair permanently. if compatibility of different bodies is needed，then you can try decreasing the EVA thickness of the chassis while increasing those of the body，should work in this way
Exactly, this modification‘s only purpose is to protect the car body from some bold handling and free of damage（to some certain degree）. A side benefit is it also reduces the shaking of the car body and looks more “scale”. In terms of “performance” improvement it‘s not relevant.😊
Can you tell me, what is the difference between this rally and touring car? I thought rally has to get bigger clearance. But it seems to be the same as the touring. So what the difference?
Basically they are identical when static，but Rally tuning would allow more extend travel，can be seen when they jump，when back to normal status they really looks almost the same. Furthermore，rally clearance is tunable to match track conditions，the travel and clearance both depends on the tracks. Hope it helps for you！
