Thank goodness for this tutorial! I am trying to use directional fabric and wanted to make sure I cut the pieces correctly. Of course, I only thought about that *after* I started cutting pieces out! 🤦♀️🤣
So glad this tutorial can be of help! In fact, I had never checked the stretch and nap line until I made several items with directional fabric😂. Now, it is the very first thing I will always check before cutting the fabric.
@@handmadebyting I sit here, ever so carefully with placement! Lol! It's a varying size of hearts in rainbow colors and I don't want my hearts upside down or sideways... which is what happened with the gusset! Lol! It's ok, I'll just have to figure those pieces into a quilt! Thanks, again! Happy sewing!
@@quitethesoph3558 Thank you! And that's why I prefer using fabric with solid color which would be easier :) But rainbow colors with hearts sound so pretty, I believe it will come out soooo beautiful and all this careful work is going to worth it! Good luck with the project!

I used minky fabric from Joann Fabrics: www.joann.com/soft-minky-fleece-fabric--solids/16038432.html Same here: www.fabricwholesaledirect.com/products/smooth-minky-fabric?variant=39462249398387&gclid=Cj0KCQjw852XBhC6ARIsAJsFPN0gEHeB7vxzUgIVBmyxe4NMLnBvPQv-hHbiSAPvD20nEkNtWuG_v8YaAp3oEALw_wcB
