Many of my dearest memories are times spent working on projects with my Dad (and helpful pups just like yours). The skills your Dad is sharing with you now will serve you a lifetime. Enjoy!!
Looks amazing! I definitely recommend sealing the ply if the room gets damp as mould will likely impregnate the ply. We had to rip out soooo much of it in our garage, despite running a dehumidifier constantly 😅 I've been eyeing off all the fittings at stubbs for ages and this has definitely sold me on it, they look so classy!
Wow what a difference. Your dad makes me laugh so much. Well done Holly from using all the tools, you were practically an expert by the end. I love your saddle racks and bridle hooks. It looks very professional. I hope your quarantine is going okay and you are finally able to have hot food. Not long now. Thanks and stay safe xxx
I LOVED helping my dad with cars and learning how to use all the tools….. I went on to do woodworking snd metal working at school and did super well! These days, as a horse owner, I don’t shy away from power tools or fixing things 💪🏻 life skills!
I adore your Dad! he and his friend were so funny. Bashing things with a sledgehammer is so satisfactory and the more you use power tools the more you get used to them. The tackroom is looking ace. Have fun in Aussie.
I love a great makeover!! The wood saddle racks and hooks are gorgeous, and the organization pieces were spot on. All the laughing and seeing you master the drill and saw were also very entertaining! Beautiful job💜
Could you film a how to become a vet kind of video? So you talk about the process you went through? Some things that might be worth adding into it are… - What GCSEs do you need? - What uni courses did you do? - Do you have to do on call during the night? - How much is the annuel wage
It's !lovely!!!! I really like the saddle & bridle "racks".! Also the tile floor really enhanced everything done. Really lovely. Yep, Meg and her white board.......then explain why she's always running late? 😉 Just having fun. Luv her dearly thru her vlogs. You did a good job learning some power tools. Kudos to your Dad & friend. Stay safe. 💙🐎😎
Gorgeous tack room Holly, and well done on doing a lot of the work with your Dad and his friend! Impressed you used the Circular Saw to cut the floor molding yourself, however, you should have been wearing safety glasses for that!!! LOL But looking like a 5 Star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Tack Room to me!! So chuffed you're so happy with how it turned out!! Stay Safe in Australia, and can't wait for your next video when you're FINALLY out of quark fine!! All my Best Regards from Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖💖🇨🇦
It doesn’t matter if you don’t know the name of the tools as long as you know how to use them safely. You mastered both the circular saw & the drill. It was a wee bit mean of them to have you drilling into concrete for your first use of a drill. Nice job team.👍🏼👷♂️👨🔧
Okay first of all, your tack room looks AWESOME! You guys did such a great job! I'm obsessed with the saddle racks, bridle hooks, and that seat thing you bought! Secondly, and I know that I'm the millionth person to say this but OMG your dad makes me laugh so much XD
Wow what a difference Holly it looks fabulous and all the giggles made it fun to do you guys are so funny laughter all the way 😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏well done all three of you.tfs😎
What a wonderful job, and it looked like you had a bit of fun as well😊 I would guess you will need to buy tack in Australia? I'm looking forward to hearing about all your adventures "down under!"
So very CUTE! But if you track in dirt/trash all the time, maybe a piece of fake grass at the outside entry to rub the bottoms of boots/shoes as you enter. ie.a fake grass doormat that you can just pick up & shake off periodically. Anyway, just an idea from this old gal (62 & still riding babies) in the Southern US. But LOVE what you did & that you did it.
Wow great work Holly, it looks amazing, I might get you to do my tack room up🤣🤣, but seriously wow you did great, and your dad is hilarious......I also want to know about the fall he mentioned😃
