Total cost making drum itself: Around $240
Around $70 went into the tools so could be cheaper if you have: Coping saw, Saw, polyurethane, brushes, drillbits, solder iron, vice.
Some of the major differences from the guide is using plywood, rather real wood. I found it difficult to get flat wood half inch thick. I put like 3 coats of polyurethane to protect it and it’s pretty good.
I’m currently looking for something to dampen the sound of the controller cause it’s just so loud. But damn i’m so glad the electronics worked out first try.
