Epoxy coffee table with tensegrity stand.
This was my first epoxy project and I spent quite a lot of time researching on how to pour epoxy how to remove bubbles from epoxy.....
It can be really hard if you never worked with epoxy resin.
In the end it turned out great and I will definitely make more of epoxy projects.

Its very very good i was wondering is it possible to make an office with tensegrity but without having a problem to fall if you put weight to the one side ???

This one is as stable as a regular table even if you sit on 1 corner .

How stable is top like if somebody bumps to it, I am sure it will not break or fall but what will happen to things placed on top of it like a vase

When I make the small tensegrity structures with only one center string, the lengths of all the strings has to be EXACT or it won't hold. Is that not true using these chains? If so, how did you make the length so exact when you were limited by the size of the links? Also, I only use three total strings instead of the standard 5. Maybe that is the difference.

It is true everything needs to be within + -1mm... all the links are the same lenght all you do is count them... the base however needs to be made with precision. Im asuming you use 4 total string triangle? This can also be stable you just need to tighten the strings more

@@MrTplanko Nope. I use only three total but do not set anything on top. Leaving one out makes it look more impossible but causes stability issues. Started a mini-table tonight (about 4"X6") and will use four corner strings and one center. If I build a larger one like yours, I will add the extra support string for a total of six so it will be more stable. Thanks for the response.

That fine adjustment for making all lengths exactly the same comes from the the screw-in anchors at the end of each chain. If you've used an equal number of links for each chain, any minor difference in the lengths can be adjusted by loosening or tightening the screw anchors.

Can't support weight. Isn't stable. Horizontal movement will cause it to fall. Visually cool, but useless.

First of all i was on top of it and i have 100kg It wasnt stable but i solved that problem so its just like a regular table and no i wont fall check out my tiktok @getrib and see for yourself...
