Just tried this kit today, and it really was easy and user-friendly, especially since I've never done acrylic nails. Mine came out a bit rougher-looking, but overall it was easy and fun to do. Next time will surely look nicer, I didn't know to do 2 beads and start at the join line. ADDED 12 hours later: Went back, re-filed and fixed the nails following your tips and now they look a lot better. Thank you for the great video!
😂😂 That was definitely me at first but I watch her videos all day everyday. I started with the dip nails and now I’m wanting to learn acrylic which is why I’m here😂 I just ordered a drill off of amazon for $20. I can’t wait to try it out!

So glad I found this! I had bought this kit a few days ago and did my nails. Loved it but they only lasted about 6 hours before starting to come off. Now I know I need to get primer and a better file before trying again. Great review and thank you!
Omggg I finally found my match someone that is my age and knows how to do nails omgggg I do nail art and i have lots of nail polish and tools and I'm good but I have never met anyone my age that knows how the do there nails finally lol

Ive been using this kit for the last twenty years..lol.. it's never done me wrong and my nails have always been bomb... say what you will, sometimes the cheap non professional stuff works just as well!!
@@leahmarie1556 with proper prep of the natural nail it lasts just as long as professional product. Though I would suggest grabbing a dehydrator and primer, otherwise you'll be more likely to lift😊
@@LisethH I use ..Beauty Secrets....brand. It seems to do the trick for me. But I'm sure there are many great ones. I'd suggest trying a few brands and picking your fave. I'm sure most nail techs will tell you to use the primer that coincides with that brand of system your using for best results. But I'm not a nail tech..so..lol 😉

Your honesty on this review was amazing. You still make me want to get the product and know just to buy a primer, trimmer, decent nail file and nail bit and always buff out scratches👍
c TAYLOR yes get a primer when I did it without they fell off in 1 day. I did it again with a cheap primer and they did last!! Make sure you USE the monomer don’t be stingy with it because the acrylic won’t work right it will dry to quickly.
Walmart sells a full Kiss set that includes primer and other things. I do use it but they BREAK off like crazy after a week. I’ve had full nails pop off without the primer. I’ve used the Kiss dip kit too and those didn’t break at all. Not sure what the deal is.
SeaweedWitch I think 💭 the kits with the primer are old I might be wrong but here in NYC the kits with the primer and the like drawers are only in the beauty supply store because they are outdated I mean you can still use them I have one too for about 3/4 years with the primer and still use the primer sometimes but I buy a cheap one from the BSS for like 3$. And YES even with the primer they fall of within 7/10 days !!! I haven’t tried the dip kit. (Yet). 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Kiss stills gives you the apple scented drops tho. It's actually the 14.99 kit that comes with the primer, dapen dish, apple scented drops. But I do agree that the smell isn't as strong as it use to be
I just did this kit, after watching you video a few times. I did all of the prepping & took my time. Guess what?! They turned out wonderfully....mostly thanks to you! Using the small beads were very helpful! I now have my little drill set, plenty nail tips, etc..etc... I'm getting better & I'm so grateful that u came across your channel. By far the best ever!!! I would say go again and make sure it's the kit that does not come with the buffer, primer, two acrylic liquids, and ect. Your store might have only had the $15/$16 kit in stock. Also, I've seen where some Rite Aid stores sell it for $6.79.

I tried this a while ago.. gorl it was mortifying the smell was intense and the acrylic dried up on the brush so I had to cut off half of the brush like..
How can this get dislikes?! This is so clear and informative. And hey, you talented cos there's no way I can put acrylics on with one hand AND with long nails 👍🏾

I use this kit also and Never used a primer before. My nails are good But sometimes uneven but i think this is bc of me bc i am so clumsy but i‘ll try your way - looks awesome
