It's screaming for a little bit of antique gold rub along the high spots. It would accentuate the texture, give it some dimension, catch some light AND pair nicely with the gold lights above.
although it’s a modernistic wall decoration, it does inspire me to create a textured version of landscapes or even famous places using the same techniques. thanks for the idea!
I loved how it looked when she just added the black and made one or two strokes with her brush… That looked good… but in her space i think the black looks fine. There are so many ways you can do it. I actually made one but didn’t add any paint. Yes i should have added some kind of topper because occasionally it would crumble lol but i hung it on my white wall and it looks pretty good.
@@trevor852 Tell me you don’t understand commerce without telling me you don’t understand commerce. Wait till you find out how much it actually colts to build vs the sale price of the device you just typed that nonsense on! 🤣
@@judilynn9569 Wait till you find out about Jackson Pollock! And you really came here to nitpick over a 4month old typo. Tell me you live in your momma basement with no life without telling me. 🤣🤣🤣 More than one of you are called “losers”! 🤣🤣
SHE IS NOT AN ARTIST! SHE MADE THAT CLEAR! It’s decor. Relax. And I have seen “ART” look like this. ART IS DEFINED BY THE INDIVIDUAL. If you don’t believe that, you aren’t an artist
You make an interesting point. Like you say, this isn't art. But all art is chaotic order or ordered chaos. It needs rules and structure. And art in a void is defined by the individual, but art in the world is defined by the world. All comments are equally valid. Music is a form of art, with rules and structure. But if you remove the rules and structure then we call that noise. And that painting could be considered the visual equivalent of noise - a mess. It is home decor, of a very poor quality. And if someone wants to call themselves an artist then they are an artist, regardless of what you happen to say or think. Art is made by an artist, but it is defined in the world - and you heard that from an artist.
I agree with what you just said but she made that “piece of work” for her home and not for the world lol the video is just showing you how she did it lol
@@onyxgem18 - I know, and see decided to share it with the world like the sun shines out of her arse. And then people are like, don't judge her. It seems like she also has the means to put some food in an artist's belly, but decided against it - because the sun shines out her arse. I know a few artists that could have done her a commission for a few hundred dollars - and she would have a beautiful piece of art on her wall, in her beautiful home for the rest of her life. Instead of a worthless piece of crap all her friends will laugh at behind her back.
It reminded me of a Russian novel where two tricksters are pretending to be artists to steal something. One asks another: - As an artist to an artist, let me ask you. Can you draw or paint at all?
as a texured wall maybe. but art should make you wonder. something made so quickly, by my own hand would have no wonder. id rather wait and wait (and save if needed) to find something special
if i wanted to create something like this Ive checked out the prices at the craft store and even seen goodwill canvases for a total of less than 50$ but 500$ is still 500$ less, even if it doesn't look the greatest imo
😂 that’s amazing art! My one year old nephew is selling his pieces for £2k. If she got some tips from him, hers may go for more than £1k 🤣🤣🤣 …she just happened to have that massive tub of modelling clay.
Ikr? An elementary student can do that. Maybe ill paint pink all over on a blank canvass while pooping and instantly can be called an art becoz i put a lot emotions there 😂
Definitely more decor than art, but you did a good job. Id hang it up in my home and I’m a traditional artist. You had fun and liked it, that’s all that matters.
another easy way is to use an app to make a cool 6 color picture out of a real photo then a $50 cheap crappy projector to project the image onto a big canvas and then paint over the image projected withsome oil paints.
I'm seriously going to make my own artwork for myself because, after decades of seeing what people consider to be thousands of dollars for one piece, I can do myself for tens of dollars or less 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. And yes, I i have taken many art classes back in my day and STILL dont understand the prices for something a 5 yr old can do
Idk what to make of this 🤔 looks like something my son would bring home from pre-k and I’d have to put it on the refrigerator to make him feel good 🤦🏽♂️
Love it! You should make a second one to match it with some gold leaf on top. I’m painting multiple canvases today. I might try this. Thanks for the great idea!
Truly talented and hard working painters: why is it so hard to make money, i wong have enough money to buy baguettes and wine and i will starve! Abtract painters: huhhummm yess this is ART "literally just did one black stroke on a white canvas" THIS.. THIS IS AMAZING! I WILL BE SUCCESSFUL "actually does become rich"
