This is the best, aggressive grip you can have for your pistol to really lock it in. This works significantly better than grip tape and works best on polymer grips (great for AR style pistol grips if you want the ultimate texture). I have been doing this for years and have done many friends guns. It is quite easy so I figured Id share how you can as well.
Step 1: Realize your pistol grip gets hawt and sweaty in your hands (especially in a Southern Summer shooting event)
Step 2: Remove slide and internals,
Step 3: Tape off edges of what you want to save/ outline where the texture will be
Step 4: Use a dremel and sandpaper to flatten grip to a smooth surface (doesnt have to be perfect)
Step 5: Mix expoxy and make a light coat across the new area you want it to stick (too thick and itll just absorb into it without a texture and look shiny when dried)
Step 6: Sprinkle this mean dust all over the epoxy and wait 3hours ish to peel tape
Step 7: Clean up any areas with a razor blade for nice lines
Step 7: Hit the range. It will calous your hands at first, but wears down over time.
When its time to re do any mess ups or after its worn down take a flat tip screw driver and scrape the old stuff off, retape and repeat the steps.
