DIY Thickness caliper

I realized a thickness caliper is going to be an essential tool for an upcoming project, but I didn't have one. Thickness calipers can be expensive tools so I decided to go with the homemade approach. I picked up an inexpensive dial indicator from Amazon to make this easy DIY tool possible. This is going to be a great addition to my arsenal of guitar making tools.

I to am a Little little short of Funds to pay the $235. Bucks for a Good set of Deep throat Calipers.. This is Great. I can do this. Thank you Mike.

Maybe someday we'll be able to justify the expensive calipers. Until then, this was quick and easy. I hope you find making your own as worthwhile as I did!
