This is a project that's been on my list for a few years now.

Looks fantastic! Goes so well with the "wood" post. My sister and brother-in-law have tiled front stoops in their previous homes, one back porch, and my mom's front stoop. I've always wanted to do this to mine, too. My mobility is limited with 2 artificial knees but I can do a lot of things just standing or using a stool. Seriously considering this. Florida hasn't gotten the fall memo either. Like you mentioned, feels like 100 degrees with high humidity. Just running a couple of errands leaves you drenched.

Your porch turn out great! I love the color and pattern! We did a similar project on our front porch about 20 years ago. Since the brick on our house is an uncommon color, we went with exterior tiles. Our brick is mostly light orange tones with random black bricks throughout. We put a dark charcoal (almost black) tile with dark grout on our porch and it turned out great! I live in the Midwest so I get the heat of the summer and snow and ice in the winter. So far, it is holding up great!

The brick veneer added an inviting warmth to your home. At first I thought maybe you would do a light lime wash but it's perfect as-is. I have been searching for a house to purchase for over 8 years. Not only does this project add a true wamth to rhe 'face' of your home it's also a $5000 to $7000 added value. Proof positive re the old adage 'you never have a 2nd chance to make a good 1st impression! '.
