The strawberry vase is the best thing ever! Honestly, I think some of your hesitancy might come from the prevalence of minimalism and more plain/muted colors in decor being super popular over the last few years. I much prefer bright and interesting decor, it's more fun! It doesn't make it childish, it just feels that way in contrast to the starkness of minimalism.

Set the vases up all nice, try walking out of the room, and coming in and pretending they aren't yours. They suddenly look amazing! They look store bought! They are cute and perfectly imperfect. You are your harshest critique, but don't ever let that stiffle your own creativity and positive energy. We love you lots, and we are here for you!

The sloth vase with the leaves gives me strong king Julien vibes. The strawberry vase is absolutely gorgeous. It would look so cute with a couple of tulips or daffodils or daisies.

for the plain yellow vase you could have put pastel purple flowers or like lilacs on it since u put it next to a light purple pot :)

Let's see the other ones revamped too! This was so fun to watch! Also, I think it could be fun for you to try out wax stamping where you get a little kit and melt the wax and stamp like a medieval Queen with little envelopes and plants and things.

My favorite is the strawberry vase. I always encourage letting your "inner child artist" play because it's very therapeutic. And they spark that creative joy so I think they're perfect!

I think all of these would look cute if they had a “match” like for the next 3 vases, pair them with each of these 3. Like for example, a shorter vase that is light green with pineapples would look cute and “go” with the strawberry one IMO. Make it cohesive.

I have watched so many vacuous and self-serving influencers on RU-vid, and yet YOU are so clearly the antithesis of those things! You know, I also love seeing Mama Maples on your channel and the deep love and respect that you share (With your Dad too!)-I don’t know what I appreciate the MOST about your Mom, but it would have to include her infectious laugh and her sunny disposition!!!! Actually though...I think the BEST thing about her is the obviously EXCELLENT WAY SHE HAS RAISED YOU! You, and your entire family bring love, warmth, positivity and an authenticity to RU-vid- and I believe that is quite rare in social media, and so worthy of viewership and support! Thanks!!! Also, I thought the DIYs were very successful, ESPECIALLY because YOU like them and had a lot of fun making them over! The whole point of DIY is to have fun painting them and then have something one of a kind at the end that YOU like! So a successful DIY is all of those things! So I would say you are a very good and successful DIYer!

I think each individual piece ended up super cute! None of them are my personal style, but they were still super adorable! I am a very minimalist, monochromatic type: black, white, shades of grey, and silver are my jam! 😁 So the two glass ones were my style to begin with, but I still loved what you did with all of them, and it looks like you found homes for them!

The sloth vase needed little fur stripes in dark brown color. That would add details and more put together look 😄

They honestly look good. I think the problem why you are not that confident with how they turned out is because you loved them as is before u painted them. I think u would feel more confident if u picked vases u kinda hated and painted them to make them look lime something u like.

I love ceramics in general, so to be able to upscale glass to ceramic looking is so fun! My fave was the yellow with the tulips! I think the DIYs turned out very “Mia” which is an amazing quality (meaning that you have your own style)
