I love watching Yvonne’s videos even though this is not my style at all. there is something about listening to her and watching her paint is so relaxing. Yvonne, you keep being you.
I’ve probably said this before, but your DIY projects are always so beautiful and unique…that’s why I love your channel so much…really loved all the projects today ❤
Yvonne, you make my day and are so inspiring. I have loved this kind of decor since I was a child. The rustier and crustier the better. I love it when you put your little vignettes together. I think i am going to try and make the nest in the jar with carrots on top. Thanks for including a little duck. They are so precious! Blessings on your day.
So sweet!! Easter (next to Christmas) is my favourite decorating, creating season. You have inspired me further to use objects other than tea cups and pretty bowls to make my vignettes. Thank you again for sharing your creativity with us. The parsley can…swoon !!!
I love all your creations. They are so adorable! The spice can with the moss, mushrooms and tiny chick might be my favorite. The chick reminds me of Albert Einstein. However, the duckling in the nest in the enameled tin cup is another favorite. You are so talented!
Somehow, I missed this when it was originally posted. I watched it today and fell in love with the smaller projects. The green bottle and the parsley spice can were just perfect! Your chick floor ended up looking perfect.
Each one was as adorable as the next one. Really liked that idea putting the nest in that jar. I like jars that have some character. But my heart was drawn to the rusty bunny. As for me he would be standing in one of my vignettes all year long. He was so precious. Great ideas Yvonne. You never cease to amaze to me. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟
I usually watch your videos at night time, and I get all motivated to go find some goodies then I remember it's night time 😂😂. You are amazing, love to see your creations, I'm learning a lot from you! Thank you!
To keep your smaller items from slipping around try a piece of non skid under I keep a piece on my turntable and it helps alot when I am painting smaller things.
When you did your rusty crusty on that tiny rooster weathervane that blue bottle looked so familiar. So I sent a picture to my husband and asked if this is the same stuff he uses to blue his metal items. And yeppers it is! Very cool!
It is so hard to think about spring when I look out the window and I see a few feet of snow that I am so tired of. I loved your ideas to help with the idea of spring as me and the dogs are suffering from a bad case of cabin fever. 😢😢😢
@GingerChickRehab it is around 20 degrees here and plug in the vehicle at night here in Anchorage AK. Record snow fall 100 plus inches this year like I said so tired of snow so your wonderful ideas are a breath of real fresh air. Thanks
I believe she’s has done that before. She added basil too at times. I’ve used this recipe n the green comes exactly like the green from the 50tys. ♥️😊👍
@@shellydehart8217 she's never done the pantry door sweetie Jane mixture. I watch every episode. But yes I have seen her do the basil and pantry door. Sweetie Jane and pantry door is very close to the Debbie's DIY apothecary clay paint color... an extremely close match.
@@thefairbanksfamily7881 I’ll admit when I’m wrong n maybe I am. But I do remember her mixing 3 different colors of green together in Sweet Pickens milk paint. I’ll remember the colors you mentioned n try them together. Thanks for keeping me on my toes. ♥️😊👍
@@shellydehart8217 I believe she mixed pantry door, basil, and in a pickle to get a vintage green. But if you check out some Jami Ray Vintage videos she has done Sweetie Jane with pantry door to get a color match close to diy paint apothecary because that was her favorite color but she wanted it in a chippy milk paint finish that's where I learned it. The color is so gorgeous and just finished with a simple clear wax and maybe then a little white wax over the clear to sit in detail. Just so amazing for spring 🌼
Do you have a tutorial for the paper wreath that’s in this video? I loved all the Spring projects and I love that you show what to do with milk paint. Thanks!
So fun to watch you, you're amazing. I've been using dollar store instant coffee for several years to stain my papers and also have it in a spray bottle. If i leave the bottle for too long, like months, it grows mold but no worries just add a few drops of isopropyl alcohol and it won't 😂. I learned that from another crafter.
Ive never seen a jar like that with clear front. I really liked what you did with that! Could you do a glass cutting project? Ive seen where they take a wine bottle and put a string on it, set on fire and dunk in cold water and the glass cracks perfectly. Im too nervous to try and you’re so brave to try new things, lol. 😮
The instant coffee will get moldy if you leave it out in the spray bottle. Add a little rubbing alcohol and store it in the fridge and it will keep longer😀
First, let me say I'm a big fan of your channels. I am also a maker and crafter and your have given me a lot of inspiration. The grass you were using in your most recent video is called excelsior. I checked etsy and the stores Revived Heirlooms and Puppy Dog Tails both sell a green exelsior. The Super Moss Store on Amazon also sells a basil excelsior in bulk quantities. I live in Amish Country in Holmes County, Ohio near Berlin, so every time I watch your videos and see something, I am headed to Berlin to the antique malls(and there are a lot) to look for it. Look forward to more videos.
These all turned out so cute❤ But I’m wondering…how much of your time goes into creating and editing your videos? I would think it’s a little time consuming but I have no clue as to what all it involves. Thank you so much for the time you spend on sharing your love of crafting, flipping and restoring ❤
As usual I loved it all I get so excited when I get a new video notice from this channel You are so talented at everything you do thank you for always putting a smile on my face with all your beautiful projects thank you for sharing 🇨🇦
Oh so sweet! Loved them all but the little simple basket was perfection! SO glad to see that the itty bitties coming apart isn’t just me with my bull in a china shop kinda thing 😂❤
I love the green bottle piece. Super cute! I have a large yellow metal basket similar in design to the blue one you showed but larger. I think my granddad used it as an egg basket. Any ideas on how to style it?
I've heard if you had a little bit of rubbing alcohol to the coffee, it won't turn ucky. Also I cut the pointed ends off tobacco sticks and made the cutest carrots. 😊
