In this video I will show you how to replace the Gearbox Oil in your Toyota Coaster / Light Commercial truck or bus. It's a super easy job to do yourself with only a small amount of hand tools and a little bit of time.

Do you need to remove the transmission pan to remove all the oil? Or the flush would do the job ? Also, isn’t there a filter inside the gearbox/transmission that needs replacing?

This gearbox doesn't have a pan you can remove. It only has the fill hole or drain hole and no internal filter. Removable pans and internal filters are more common in automatic transmissions. Doing a flush cycle is better than just doing a change as you have more chance of removing any contaminants or debris in the gearbox 👍
