For those who don't want to glue the whole end i find putting small dabs of gorilla glue where you burn the ends help just the same! I can wait to make this! Thank you!
I like to put the glue on the tire off itself so the Paracord on the tire off doesn’t stretch move or slip, anything like that. In all honesty you don’t need to use glue at all I just like to do it for the security benefits.
Do you have any tips on how to keep the paracord tight. I have EDS and it affects my hands. I tried to do the rainbow collar you did not too long ago and my "stiches" were too loose so the collar misshapes and is not even spacing around. Any ideas will be appreciated. I love the lead its so pretty! Thank you!
I haven’t been able to find any good answers so far but I’m still going to be on the lookout for you. Someone has suggested maybe wrapping the cord around something that you could grab onto like maybe like a pencil or something like that that you can grab onto to pull it tighter but I’m not sure if that would work so I’m still going to check around
I have EDS as well! My advice goes- Bundle your paracord up and use it as “handles”. It makes it easier to feed string through w/o having to pull feet after feet. Plus,then you don’t need to hyperextend to hold onto the string! Just grab the grouping and tug. My paracord has alwaus come out very tight :). Try to hold the end of the paracord down as well
The rule of thumb is that you will use a foot for every inch that you want your lead to be so say your lead is 12 inches you’re gonna need 12 feet. Don’t forget when you make your handle for however big that is going to be add that to the length that you want
