DIY Truck Cap Camper build (Part 1) 

Thanks! I used 3/8" plywood as it was all I had. I would use at least 1/2" for the bed if a do another one. I still have these cabinets in my truck and use them everyday except the bed... I took it out and just sleep diagonal on the floor as the back of the truck is 5 1/2 foot and I am 6 foot. I have been across the country 3 times with this set up and it works great! I don't post camping videos anymore due to lack of interest on youtube views. I wish I hadn't added the music to the vids, but I cannot remove the music without losing the view time.... oh well. @@Youcan2Adventures Appreciate you getting back to me. I thought it might be 3/8" but wanted to check. I think you did a terrific build and doing it off the tail gate with battery powered tools shows you have some great skills. Good job! When I can get to my build I'll show it to ya once I can get my wife to a healthier level again (knee surgeries) and catch up on some previous projects before the spring. The music is fine and light listening. Thanks again!

Hi Mark, the dimensions are 10" height (to clear fender well) by 2' wide by whatever length you want. I just recently took my bed out as I am done with camping for the year and using the other cabinets for my tool storage for work. Thanks for watching and supporting!
