I was thinking it too when my phone charges it goes warm I might just use the diy for my necklaces or rings or hairbobbles I would be worried about it catching fire
Thanks! I don't think it would be safe to do this DIY for a tablet, since it's a lot heavier, and it could fall and break. But you can still make a tablet charging case. +jltavare I always burn my self =) Which is why i bought the medium heat glue gun instead of the high heat one. So now when i burn my self, it's not that painful and no blisters. But when i used the high heat one, i would get blisters and everything. Be careful! =) //Maria

Good idea but just be careful the plastic is not touching the prongs of the plug, or wedged between the wall outlet and the plug, or it could be a fire hazard - or at least run a strip of electrical tape all around the inside of the cut 'plug hole' so that there's no fire hazard if the plastic does happen to touch the prongs. OR just make sure the plastic hangs over the TOP of the plug, not right up against the wall where it CAN slip down and touch the prongs.
