Instead of trying to nail the whole piece. Try drilling holes at each corner and running fencing wire wire up through each corner. Its a lot quicker. the projecting ends of fencing wire at the top are looped to form cup hooks. It does mean putting 2 support slats to hold your base in place but from experience I know it saves a lot of time and frustration trying to nail each piece.
Hi insted of using nails try making a hole in pieces of wood then insert a wire and tie it ( you can use wire hunger ) Much faster and in the future if a nail fail it is hard to fix it. But with the wire you can change one easy. For the hanger screw you can pre drill a small hole the screw the hanger
VARGA ADINA I basically bought 5 wood sticks of 1 meter long and 2 cm wide, a few 3 cm nails and 4 screw hangers. It is easy, cheap and fun! ....when you're not living at the 3th floor. I had my neighbors coming once to complain about the noise. I said sorry! And continued the next day! :))

I never imagined it I would be so bad at kicking some nails into the wood lol :)) I know it would've been easier to use a hard wire to connect the wood sticks in between them, but I don't have a drilling machine. Next week I will recive a special orchid order and I'll need this basket for one of those beauties....
