コメントありがとうございます：）私が使ったベルベット生地にはスパン糸60番、針#14、縫い目の長さをいつもより少し大きめの3.5で普通にきれいに縫う事ができましたよ🙂👍🏻

I want to use a lightweight linen type of fabric instead of velvet, so would that be okay for this tutorial you think?

I love this, it was great! But tell me, why did you put the extra bit of fabric on underneath at the top? Was it to give it more structure? Sorry I just cant get my head around it :P
