Just used these identical mirrors, in the same pattern as you did, with the same command strips on my dining room wall. A couple fell so I removed them all. Hmm. I did not remove the rear paper from the mirror. So in essence I now realize that the command strips were put to paper that pulled away from the mirror. Gonna do this again, your way. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing the detail about the back paper peeling part as without that they just fall down. I just spent a lot of time peeling the paper and finally mounted on the closet door
I did this like 2 years using Velcro I found in my crib and my mirror last a day 😭😭 glad people are posting the correct way to put these mirrors up ✨definitely trying again lol
Thank you - really like it...will try with different highlight on frame. Thanks for going over the use of the command strips⚘. Saw something similar. (If you want frame smooth) They filled in the ridges on the frame with either E6000 or hot glue to smooth it out. Then decorated over it - however you want. Thank you again🎀
Oh i think the width you used on yours is perfect. It looks really professional. I absolutely love this and for the little bit of $ spent , it is soooooo worth it. I am doing this in a small entry way to pull in the light from the door. Thks for sharing!
Thank you. You are truly talented. It's exactly what I needed for my dining room. It came out beautiful! I wanted to cry when I saw how beautiful it came out! You saved me a ton of money on buying expensive mirrors and it looks much better!!!! You deserve your own channel!
I know i already commented a while back ,but I FINALLY GOT MY MIRRORS 🤗,lol.SO, IM BACK TO WATCH THE VIDEO AGAIN!!☺ Took me forever to get all my mirrors ,too from Walmart. They had plenty but not the color i needed. I still need 2mre but i have enough to do what im doing in my dinning room. Anyways ,thanks again!! :)
This is such a cute project! Thank you for sharing, and for such great details on the how-to. Would you mind sharing information about the lights that are up around the ceiling of your room, please? Thank you so much!
Sure! I have a quick video on my channel where I explain how I did the lights. You can watch it here ➡️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AAMJoWrV3dE.html
@@haleemahodumade6108 He's entitled to his opinion. This is the comment section, not the kiss ass section, he said nothing disrespectful. I like the look without the glitter too, but she still did a good job.
You are the answer to what I have been searching for! Totally cannot wait to try this idea! I just pray it comes out good b/c this would be perfect. However quick question, do you not take the paper from the bottom and put the command strips at the bottom?
No I didn’t take the paper off the bottom nor did I put command strips at the bottom because I didn’t feel it was necessary. You definitely can tho if you want that added security.
Aaack I wish I watched this 90 minutes ago before I hung my mirror with the command strips on the paper (then immediately got worried that the mirror is going to fall off and break!) Thus I started searching the web for other people's experiences. I guess I'll take the mirror off and start over with new command strips.
@@IAmSeiraSweetheart Amazon came through and I had my new Command Strips the next day. One of the original ones had already pulled the paper from the back of the mirror! In 24 hrs! I think I saw your video in the nick of time. Thank you!! :)
When I haven't been to sleep all night, up on my momma computer and the vid says it was posted 30 mins ago. *me clicks on quick as possible. Btw why wasn't momma part in here?
I didn’t paint them. In the video I explained that I had already completed this project at home & wanted to film it so I filmed myself doing the same thing for my best friend. The black mirrors were at her house, white at mine.
Yes that makes since. And I wanted to try that but when I saw other people removing the frame the glass sometimes shattered. The glass on these mirrors are really thin. Plus the frames have angled corners so you’d probably have to sand the edges of the frame down for them to sit flush together. That’s if it doesn’t break in the process.
Thank you for this video i have a really big large bedroom i want to put this on my wall in my bedroom i have alot of space because my room is really big i will do this to my bedroom wall
Thank you soooo much for this video! I have several Walmart mirrors up against a wall because I didn’t know how to hang them. This is the information I need to make it happen!
As long as you don’t apply them to the paper part of the mirror you should be fine. And make sure you clean the spot on the wall with alcohol before you apply the command strips. Mine are still holding up really well and have never fallen off. But you could always use nails if you’re not sure about using the command strips.
