I have had all the Cricuts and Never used them! I've been to nerves. This has really helped me! I'm excited to cut trucks ornaments!!!! Thank you tons!!!! I use the scroll saw. The only problem for me is the thickness. The 1/16 is too thin for my projects.

I am encouraged to see the thickness of the wood, so this will definitely cut my 8oz to 12oz canvas or denim fabrics? I am looking to purchase my first Cricut, is th Cricut Maker better than the Air?

You could put ruler next to bar with the white star rollers before moving and take picture to know exactly where they were

For painting and putting back in machine idea, wouldn’t it be better if you paint before cutting? Figure out placement leave a little extra space between images and tape for no cross over of paint. In this project paint circle area then put in machine to draw (write) and cut, I think it would be easier than trying to line up perfectly.

I send in comments all the time to Cricut to update the website so it doesn't cut out while in project. I called and talked with customer service rep and she helped me clear my history that helped, but didn't solve the issue. Very cute!

I tried using a 1/16 balsawood and the cuts are not going through and end up breaking the design when trying to separate it. I also used basswood, although it also breaks, I was able to get something finished compared to the balsa. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Im using Balsa wood 1/16 and my knife will not cut through it. I didn't realize I need to tape it down. Could that be the reason why?

@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat oh. So it can cut 1/8. But does it have to be bass or balsa wood? If so, does it have to be a certain type of cricut? Just checked with cricut and they said it cuts up to 16th of an inch. I'm confused.
