I want to thank you... I suffer a lot with memory loss and I'm in the process of a whole bunch of tests for Alzheimer... I'm hoping I don't have it but there's still investigating.. I started going through your videos and I found what I needed thank you it took a little bit to compute for me to go back in the history even though you repeated it a million times..it just wasn't sinking in until it clicked and I found it what I needed...so thank you... Was looking at how to make a bow n saw your video making the wood sign n bow. Have to say that sign turned out stunning. Love the colors you used. The bow, beautiful! Now that I know how to make them all I need is some zip ties. If you get a chance to read this can you tell me where you get that size paint roller n can you get more of the rollers when other one wears out? Also can you tell me again what kind of green tape that is that you used. I thought you said automotive. Love watching you Sammy n love your sense of humor, it’s great. ♥️♥️😊👍👍

Hi! I just wanted to ask if you have had any yellowing of the white paint when using the spar urethane sealer? I used same brand spray sealer and it turned yellow within a few days. I’m wondering if the liquid is different?

Hello Amber. Ive only applied vinyl one time to a wood round so I couldn't give you the definite answer. I would say just apply the vinyl. If it's permanent it should stick without issues.

While staining??? No, you can flip it right over and stain and then I prop it up while it dries so both sides can dry evenly :)

Hello there! Does your Helmsman say water based on the front? If it doesn’t that means it’s oil based which will turn white, yellow.

You don’t add a sealer after staining your wood? My stencil will NOT stick at allllll on to my stained wood unless I add poly first

Hey Angela. No, I do not. If your vinyl isn’t sticking it may mean that you have too much stain on your wood and it’s not drying all the way.

Complete newbie here! Picking up a little each day. Playing in cricut design, etc. my confusion lies with "stencils, stickers, pics", etc. Once they're printed what's the best way to transfer your design onto the wood? I see transfer paper, I have cricut vinyl....how do I transfer wording, designs etc onto the wood round? Help! thank you Lynn

Hey!!! Question. When I stain my signs- why does it take so long to dry?? Your stuff dries soo quickly. I used a Varathane weathered grey oil based. It’s been drying for 5 hours and NOT drying. I didn’t sand- is that the problem?

Hi Sammie, Sorry to bother you again as you know I am new to all of this. I do have a few questions for you on your wood rounds that you did. do you have to use the rustoleum chalk paint or can it be any kind of chalk paint? Also could you help me on the cricket space how is it that you put up a round circle so you can layout your design and put your writing on there along with any other design so I can measure to see if my print I would like to cut will fit properly? I had the spar urethane smear my chalk paint. Do you know why????? My chalk paint has been dry for a week.

FYI You are dealing with pine so you need to apply A pre-stain Wood Conditioner first than stain so you will have an even finish and no Blotching.

I know this is an old video, but is the wood round from Home Depot too heavy to hang from a door ? I wanna make one so bad and I already have a wood round but I’m worried it’s too heavy to use as like a wreath for say.

What is the difference in doing the stencil method versus just applying white vinyl letters on the sign? The stencils are intimidating lol.
