Great project, but a word of warning: If you have kids and they have friends who are anywhere from about 8 or 10 up through their teens, it's almost inevitable that one of them will be reckless enough to slam dunk and try to dangle from the relatively fragile wooden rim. That's even if you had a big speech with all of them telling them not to do it. That's why our church had to get really beefy, spring loaded goals to replace the regular ones that got torn up. That door doesn't look like a regular house door though. I'm guessing a work place door?
+Gewgulkan Suhckitt you are definitely right! It is for really small or really big (grown up) children. I gave it to a friend of mine who belongs on the second category! ;)
Please could you tell me in the comments what measures molds because at school the teacher command us to do anything but have to be of wood and want to make this basketball hoop if me you can give is appreciated by some very good video
if u have some woodworking skills and can make this out of beefier plywood u can make a standart sized one BUT they dont hang on metal poles ankered to the ground for no reason so and thats a whole diffrent project
you could just get an nba one for $36 and you can dunk for better quality and less money than about 4 tools that would cost about $200 and wood for $50
