Those are quite lovely but a huge waste of material if you used precious metals. Again, lovely just the same and I suppose you could always melt down silver into grain/beads for future use.❤
@@starwoan5970 @starwoan5970 I am not trying to show negativity towards anyone's skills especially when they are trying to teach others. These marquis earrings are very lovely. ❤️ All I was trying to say was that if one was making these marquis shaped earrings out of precious metals, such as sterling silver or real gold, there would be a waste money and material using the excess amount of wire shown in this tutorial. Quite a bit of scrap is being cut off. There is NOTHING "wrong" with the they are made here. One can always use scrap wire to make jump rings for another project. If it were me (but it isn't me - lol) and I were using precious metals, I'd measure as close as possible to the amount of wire needed to minimize the waste (real gold is VERY expensive!). I can be such a frugal person at times, I'd measure even if I wasn't using precious metals but again there is "nothing wrong" with the way these marquis earrings are being made. It's just a waste of wire if the excess is going into the trash bin. I love pink and I think the marquis ear wires are really cute regardless. ❤️ 😍
One question, what kind of wire do you use? What if you can't tolerate brass and copper? I really like copper but I can't stand it on my ears. Do you have a tip?
