@水生葉 yes I figured out the embouchure in like an hour. I haven't played in a few weeks cuz I've been focusing on clarinet and piano and my compositions but thanks for the reminder to practice Dizi today👍
I think this is one of the most helpful videos 'how to play isntruments' I've ever seen. I haven't got Dizi flute, but my friend has and this is how I would teach it.
Thank you for making these tutorials, I'd like to see more from you as well! And I have a question: Your Dizi sounds an octave lower than mine, is there a technique that I am doing wrong?
Same with mine. I think it has something to do with how we're blowing into it. I've tried to find videos on how to blow, but I have yet to succeed. If someone has found one and is willing to help me (us if that is the reason)out, that would be greatly appreciated :)
That is strange. My C key dizi sounds so much higher in pitch. Wonder why... And I have trouble producing the note 'fa' i.e. while covering only the holes 4 and 5...
C (。)= two beats C (•) = one beat Ex:(you play the note C and you count 2 beats and then the next note. Play it longer. The other one is one beat -play C and go straight to the other note.) Hope this helps somewhat. Also the other one with the circle and a line across it = 4 beats. Play the note C and basically count 4 beats that how long the note should be played. I’m also new to this so I hope this helps a little.
Hi kuya.. hirap ako sa Dizi i blow yung last 3 holes. Pag binoblow ko naman yung dizi tumutunog naman sya pero pag tinakpan ko na ng daliri hangin lang... Sa bansuri ko lang nagagawa tong exercise :( HELP.. pano niyo napapatunog?

I actually played these simple melodies on key D on my Dizi, the pitch is different, but the melody is identifiable:) like London bridge or Mary had a little lamb :)
Hi im filipino too but i would rather talk in english the easiest place to buy is online or in china cause dizi means chinese flute or chinese peole call it "disa"
