A friend of mine, Danish, recommended me this band without knowing I am a Beatles fan. I fell in love with this band. When I heard this song, the name sounded eerie familiar and then she explained me that it was a song for John. I came here to see the video and I can't believe the balls of this people to do this; practically supporting the theory of Lennon being killed by the Government of the US based on his linking to the Black Panthers and his involvement against the Vietnam War. She told me "you are looking too much into it. this is a Danish band, the video is not supposed to be something serious" and I don't know much about Denmark and their culture and if this is supposed to be a weird parody or "a joke" but for me it felt extremely raw and emotional. Super passionate. Am I right to believe this is more like a serious statement or should I take this as a silly parody? Congrats, Denmark! This band is fucking awesome!
I believe that the front singer Tim Christensen just wanted to praise the legend Lennon, as he has been a Beatles fan most of his life. Not too much deeper meaning or conspiracy going on.

Det er jeg ikke helt enig i. Ja, der er musik i dag der er dårligt, men der er blevet lavet forfærdeligt musik lige så længe musikken har fandtes. Der er masser af fantastisk musik idag, du kigger bare de forkerte steder :)
Noget bedre end da jeg var barn, og måtte lytte til sange som, "Man burde købe sig en tyroler hat" eller "Ikke flere penge, fyret fra mit job" og den slags. Jeg kunne ikke fordrage Dansk musik, og det kan jeg stadig ikke undtagen nogle få som Dizzy.
