I'm crying! This is the version that I grew up with back when I was a child. My mom had it among other songs on her computer, and I used to sing it all the time.
I was walking under a bridge in Frankfurt Germany and a group of industrial goths were listening to this drinking beer... it was one of the most fascinating things I ever saw and glad I found the mix.
You know, i was lost in the railways in Denmark in New Years Eve 2020, in my road to Germany, and i found a nice Danish town with a happy boulevard where i found a free dance club. I decided to stay there until the awake and the open train station. I HEARD THIS SONG AND THEN MY WAITING NIGHT IN NEW YEAR WERE FINALLY HAPPY!
This song reminds me of my Army days in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Friends going to my apartment for drinks before heading to the clubs later on. Cheers to the good old days!
My mind brought me here. When my mum used to play all these old songs. the memories that were made on the car rides are just something I'd die for to go back and re-live them. God living back then was so much more exciting than living on this world right now. back then it was all peaceful you could go out and do this. now you aren't even safe in your own homes.
I was born in 1998 and when I hang out with friends and they're on their phones I get pretty annoyed, but thankfully only 2 of them check regularly, the others think the same as me. But I really hate seeing some 14 year old kid being unable to get off his phone, it was his younger brothers b-day and all he did was sit on the couch and do whatever the fuck he was doing on his phone. I honestly think that's disgusting, I go to my sister/brother in law everyday, today I was there for 12 hours watched a few movies with them, just chilling outside and talking. And when I was younger, I literally got home and went outside, for like 8 years I was outside all day every day, I'd sometimes skip dinner cause I was playing hide n seek or something else. And I still hang out with those friends every weekend, but now all the kids are playing on phones, and you can't even get a conversation going with a 14 year old cause he's addicted to his phone. Don't even know what the hell he's doing but it's sad. Like damn dude I love technology and I play games a lot, but I would love it so much if people weren't addicted to their phones and social media. And it doesn't really affect me directly but I still find it so sad to see some kid who can't even look away from their phone. Watching the series ''Friends'' made me realize how much better that time was as well, drinking coffee and talking, I don't think that ever happens anymore... Hope one day there will be a time where people can be like back then and just talking and going out, while technology is improving.
This is giving me tears 😭 I misses my teens, now I’m a mother with 2 months old daughter. I miss being young.. please don’t ever say you wishes you were adult because believe me honey. You will miss your teen hood.
was at a party yesterday (i live in norway) and some angel put on this jam and u can bet ur ass i stood on that table and sang to my voice was completely gone. u just gotta love the song
Just added it to my wintersports playlist. Fun memories of every year's skitrip with bunch of (ex-) neighbours and friends. Tough skieing during the day, and dancing and singing from apres ski time till late. True endurance.
I went last week to the disco with my friends and they played this song there. Everyone was singing and dancing with this song, it was so good that everyone was saying "AGAIN, AGAIN" because it was so good. This song will never get old.

This song reminds me of a night club that used to be open in Aberdeen named Chicago Rock Cafe. It was a huge lit up place full of jolly folk in their 30's up and my brother used to make that his go-to place. Now in my older age I wish it was still open. Unfortunately ponsy oil companies got it knocked down to make themselves another hotel in it's place.
Call Me Gaffer There was a Club in Greenock, just outside Glasgow, called Babylon, two best friends worked on doors and the Ne'rday parties fkin rocked with everyone singing along to this...good times, good Scooby Snacks! Yet,alas, the same as the rest of the town,it shut down with really no warning...building is STILL empty twelve years on...🤔...MAYBE I SHOULD APPLY TO BUY THE PLACE,need a LOT of work...but the revenue streams would be enormous,as Greenock, back THEN had at least 10 clubs you could get knocked back from and just go try the next!! Now...? One club...with a bar added...let's get #BabylonVivaG1 up and running again guys, can only benefit the youngers these days,as they're quite happy putting each other in hospital in imaginative and extremely dickheadish ways...give them a Scooby Snack push them in the door, and their preconceived "we need to be hard men" idea would go out the window, when the music kicked in!!
Call Me Gaffer it's Fkin Sad how our generations places of Worship,NOT DISSING THE BIG MAN before extremist Catholics get on my case!!,and I AM A R.C and proud to be, Have been allowed to crumble and left to ruin...fk bringing BACK the 90s just let's go back to the OLD way of clubbing, where one night lasted three days, you met people and formed BONDS THAT WOULD NOT BE BROKEN...over a tokeing session, and the after parties were sometimes better than the club some nights!!
