@GW -- I agree. I feel u! He was annoyed with all his bullshit, acting clueless & playing the victim role. Check out some of my comments & replies to AKADEMIKS statements acting like he don't know why or how type shit? This conversation was so important and I’m so glad Ak said it. People constantly support artists that put out nothing but negative energy and then act shocked when that energy comes back to the artist. The law of attraction is real. What you put out is what you get back.
They weren't being biased. Some concepts weren't directed to him directly. He gets offended easily and takes things outta context. As for the Six9 not being into hip-hop.... That is far from truth. Being authentic or not he created chaos and moved like an agent. Ak absolves himself from a lot of things has promoted. When asked, his response is what about them. That's like the Lyor, "I got mouths to feed" comment. He got too emotional too fast to have the conversation.
What's wild is no one has an issue with AK getting bullied, but when he defends his self everyone is outraged and offended. These so-called gangsters are super corny!!
They keep it so real I’m glad we got people out here that are higher power want our community to do better and to not be in the streets I love this show my
Perfect advice for all students. Don’t look at school as an experience.. look at it like it’s a business. Don’t get caught up with all these student loans 🙌🏼
He’s right in theory but unfortunately logic can’t be applied in the streets…wallo and gillie was saying handle it a different way because it’s not worth dying over nor is he equipped to handle street beef
@@Royale5600 That's crazy. Like he said, we're all men at the end of the day. If you think only Gangster can kill then you don't live in America. If you think you can openly threaten a grown man for so long, without him coming at you with that same energy, then you're not a man
AK called out all the hypocrisy when it comes to how people criticize him while simultaneously celebrating violent music that actually has the MOST influence and never calling out platforms that Playlist that music…Gillie & Wallo really showed how they just aren’t in AK’s level intellectually. You need critical thinking skills. They just would not completely acknowledge how as a man they wouldn’t accept the type of disrespect they expect Akademiks to accept simply because he’s not “street”. Foh
It’s not an intellectual thing. I’m very sure they can comprehend what he saying. They refuse to listen to change a narrative in their favor. First off gillie a real street nigga that’s not even the same thing AK can’t be on here saying he not this or that but giving off the energy like he want all the smoke when he don’t defending yourself as MAN don’t mean give off the wrong energy cause that’s a whole different thing he’s talking like he can’t get touched all because he’s defending himself as man that’s dumb grown man get killed everyday

He has a point but that’s corny.. All he did was point the finger around at other people and brought up Dolph to further prove his point.. The real question is how many of those rappers that DMd Ak about some street shit did he report
Why does he deserve respect? For what getting a bunch of kids to kill each other for his own personal gain! If that’s what you respect then you don’t mean us no good either! Fucking loser’s
@@Black_unity597 how is he responsible for kids killing each other when he’s ONLY reporting what the rappers are rapping about and doing in the streets? Every time AK tried to explain his side you guys were jumping in and saying he was wrong. If you're going to give him a platform, at least be fair and hear him out
AK Smoked they Ass 😂 He speaking nothing but facts, it’s hard to have a effective conversation when people are rooted in their mindset and never wants to admit that their wrong.
@@MrJeff1227 absolutely I agree with that AK don’t listen and when he’s listening to somebody he’s not listening for clarification he’s listening just to respond
Hosts are biased. Dismissed Freddie threatening AK by saying he was trolling. But then questioned AK for telling ole dude to pull up, while also completely ignoring the fact that he only did so because he was being threatened.
The problem is he say he not a Gangster and run around talking gangster shit telling people to pull knowing he not going to do shit but get the police and internet involved, he on some 69 rat entrapment shit . and everybody in the game has criticized and agree;d that AK just be fueling issues probably caused alot of young teens to lose their life because he wanted to make a quick buck off their story. So if somebody call him out on that, thats not wrong, you respond with gangster shit because he insecure and cant take words. Then they proceed to try n squash everything and his fat ass think he kimbo slice. and i can bet $1000 your white
@@LilSMOOVEera This is why context is incredibly important. He said that to someone who had literally just threatened his life on social media, saying that he could have smoked him. Ak didn’t say anything in that DM that he didn’t also post publicly: then do it. If you are going to do something to me…then just do it. Don’t try go to social media and allude to it in an attempt to intimidate me….be about the image that you are presenting. There is absolutely nothing wrong with challenging someone in that manner. You don’t need to be “gangsta” to defend and take up for yourself. You don’t need to be a gangsta to carry a weapon (and Ak is a licensed weapon carrier FYI), you don’t need to be a gangsta to defend your manhood against someone trying to harass and bully you. Which is what a lot of you MFs don’t understand. Ak was straight up the laughing stock for years. People calling him out, talking down on his name. Making him the scapegoat of everything bad about media. It’s only in the past few years really where he has started to push back and defend himself….and he is allowed to do so. Gillie and Wallo weren’t trying to squash anything. When you are mediating, you have to look at and consider both perspectives and they failed to do so multiple times. They had a set perspective about Ak and stuck to it no matter what he said. They got on him about calling men out their names…when he explained that Mysonne disrespected him first by calling him a bitch and saying he was less than a man, they had nothing to say. They dismissed very real threats Gibbs made against his life as him potentially trolling, which neither them nor Ak could attest to and then turned around and criticized him for defending himself against someone who was making threats against his life. What you’ll need to understand is that defending oneself isn’t a street thing, it’s a human thing. Not being apart of the street life simply means that you don’t engage in street activity…Don’t mean you’re a pussy. Doesn’t mean you can’t fight. Doesn’t mean you don’t know how to aim a gun. It simply means you choose to follow societal laws. You abide by a different set of codes, one not defined by the streets. But it doesn’t make you less of a man…and it doesn’t mean you can’t defend your name when someone disrespects it. Ak isn’t talking gangsta. He is defending himself against people who have a hard-on for him. Mysonne brought him up unprovoked. So did Gibbs..The only difference is this is no longer the Ak from years ago whose just going to allow people to threaten him or run his name through the mud. This is a nigga that has now realized his self-worth and is a mogul in the making. That’s not me sucking something. I’m simply pointing out that when you reach that status, you get a different attitude about yourself..and I think as well the community has started to respect his place in it more. Whereas before, it was straight disrespect. He’s not up for allowing himself to be bullied and I can only respect that. I just don’t think Gillie and Wallo took into perspective both sides. You can’t tell a man or woman for that matter to not defend their person, but, not have any words for the people they are defending themselves against.
This made me respect Akademiks a little more for calling out Wallo because it’s true they kind of find the the easier target to blame .. for example this podcast had Von on and didn’t go and ask “ so how do you feel about you rapping and contributing to Chicago’s Crime Rate??” If you gonna hold one accountable you need to hold EVERYONE accountable!! He was really in his bag lol MAJOR RESPECT 💯💯
@@urbannuance5151 telling him to slow down is not the same as holding him accountable for his contributions to what was going on. He ain’t pull the trigger on one person out there, but at least he accepted his part and tried to grow. I respect that
The issue is King Von n a lot of these rappers come from that environment and that was how they lived n were brought up. Akademiks was an outsider making violence popular he never had to suffer the consequences for it’s not where near the same

Agreed 🤷🏽♀️ let Mysonne go n and say he know make claims and then Wallo said apologize, Ak basically like no. He wanted to speak his peace 2 so he eventually did get loud and they expected Ak to just apologize and not give his side while Maysonne was on the phone that’s not fair.
