Right. He constantly used the word "we" and "us". He used his celebrity status and platform to lure in potential "investors". Who turned out to be victims in the end. Envy was promoting and soliciting clients for seminars. And used his own social media platforms to get victims into seats at these costly seminars. And that would be Envy's role at a bare minimum. And of course he was paid by Cesar for those services rendered. Envy was in on the whole scheme from the start. This is going to play out like a movie. There will be an episode of Greed. And possibly a movie in the near future, I bet.

He say he lost 500,000 but how much did he make with this partnership? We know he didn’t do it for free.

He said he had made money with Cesar on money he gave him deals with before. Cesar definitely paid him to endorse the business. None of that’s foul play. I don’t think Envy is money hungry enough to knowingly be in on a scam when he’s a very public brand and literally has to speak publicly for a living. That’s too easy to trace back to him. I think Cesar simply kept a money pot and pulled a Bernie Madoff, that’s easy to do if you’ve done a couple of good deals with your most notable investors and then just scam the lesser known ones.

Smh that part made me cringe. Went through a traumatic experience, got paid for it, and when trying to provide a better life for her child, she gets finessed.

Almost everyone to some degree needs to get burnt at least one time to learn this lesson, hopefully it is kept to a manageable level that you can fairly quickly recover from. Learn the lesson and consider it tuition. Unfortunately many people lose such a substantial amount, it handicaps their trajectory. I am 43, spent my 20's working in investment management then changed careers and started a business in 2010 in Healthcare which I still run today. I have made many mistakes along the way, many times 3 steps forward, 2 steps back. However, I took the lesson and course corrected each time, at times I have lost a lot but overall net today I have a mid 7 figure net worth. Here are my observations -Only 10% of the population has a high level of competency in one area to where they have an actual edge -Only 1% has a high level of competency in two areas. Usually a business owner that makes a lot of money then spends next decade learning what to do with that money. Usually Real Estate or some other form of investing -If you can sell people a dream that doesn't include them actually doing work and quick riches. People are lazy and many will buy into it because it is what they want to hear -Nobody is going to care about your money than you will. You need to take an active role in understanding and learning what you are actually investing in. Never just give someone money and hope for the best. Stick to what you have an experience in and a knowledge edge -Depending on a few variables but can take anywhere from 5-10yrs to develop that edge, you need to have experience in all market conditions to really have a full grasp on what you are doing -One of the most important aspects of investing is managing your downside risk. You can be right for decades and have one black swan event wipe you out. Once you start building a net worth you never want to be fully invested in one outcome -Stay the hell away from leverage. Unless you are the elite of the elite in what you are doing, you are going to get wiped out.

Right...like you could invest in futures, stocks, forex, etc and get dividends quarterly that'll pay for the rest of your life with that money. Instead, she "invested" her money into a scammer and got finessed. $750,000 is more than enough to learn how to invest properly on your own, through the help of youtube, in order to make a good living. Learning lesson for her tho.

YOU don’t even know all the inner workings at your workplace and corporate, you can’t expect endorsers to hold a whole investigation on a business before they accept an endorsement deal. That’s on the business to make sure they’re legit, not paid endorsers. Hell, the business could be legit and not start scamming until after they get the celebrity promotions, would you still blame the endorsers then?
