I watched this video in 2010 shortly after it was released and decided to pick up DJ Hero 2 shortly after. I'm now a DJ at 5 residencies in Buffalo and each night I take someone behind the decks to give them a similar experience in the one that I was able to live vicariously through you on RU-vid. DOPEST DJ EVER MY COUSIN and Best Friend Adam I was with him everyday almost I remeber getting my first coffin and turn tables mixer it etc... He inspired me I showed him How to mix Iron maiden with hip hop DJ Chonz Rodriguez showed us beats and the mixer never thought he would take it to the heights he reached im just now recovering and moving forward some mornings are tough wasnt supposed to be this Accidents happen its tragedy. My Aunt Andrea is getting better as well I cant imagine loosing my son I try to help her around her house and the lawn to take the hard stuff off her hands I always knew I would end up on the property helping with yardwork. RIP CUZ YOUR ALWAYS MY BRO FOREVER.
You are very lucky to have gotten private lessons with him. It's also incredible how he combines all of this older music/classic rock with these types of rap beats. This is just incredible. RIP DJ AM YOU WILL BE MISSED.
I met him & crazy town down pittsburgh when I was like 14 @ their free concert lol. I 🚬'ed with the guitarist and everyone else was pissed at him for not helping load the van 😂 but they eventually chilled out after a few minutes & came over, before they hit the road they gave me a drum stick & everyone signed it 😁👍
He's so skilled and amazing. (female records use dj) another tragic loss in my life. Moved so fast, anyone I shared his skills. with thought video was lagging...i sim0y say, no...hes just so fast you can't catch his flow. There empty hole in my heart only DJ AM can fill. May he rest in peace, his own guilt and demons tore his kind heart apart, his music lets him live infamously untouched in talent and live for how short a time he blessed our lives, I am grateful.

Saw a documentary on tv recently. He was extremely talented. Mixing records is an art. I use to go to the park back in the day just to watch the djs spin. Mad I'm getting old😐

I like this.... I use to DJ with my boss at the time stuff but that was years ago. This makes me want to save up for my own equipment and get back to the mixing.

Such a good guy. Truly was a tragedy. Great that you got to meet him and have him show you a thing or two on the turntables. I'd give anything to meet him and spend just 30 mins watching him work. The thing with DJing, its unique. You can show someone what you do but it's hard to teach. That's what I love about AM, he's unique. No one can replicate.
Amazing talent, amazing guy. I seriously recommend everyone to watch the film 'As I AM'. Especially if you battle addiction. Such a great person who helped so many people...even survived a plane crash inferno! Came back from that to DJ again, but lost his battle against his demons one sad night. God bless AM.

You're so lucky! DJAM was one of my favorite DJs. I used to mix and battle back in school so I really appreciate watching this. Such talent and wasted at such a young age. He'll be missed for sure. Great vid man. Very personal
