It is nice to see some DJ's don't change drastically like some of these EDM artists that quit putting bass in their music. You know exactly what you're going to get when you come here..... new drum and bass that actually sounds like drum and bass... Aphrodite brings the bass every time. He never disappoints.

The 1st track my brother heard was 1 of aphrodite. Think it was drop top caddy..... He showed me when I was like 9/10 years old. And then showed me a best of British tape pack and 1 nation tape pack and I fell in love with the music. All the different jump up, ambient, up front, liquid, hardcore, dark, sounds were fucking incredible to me. I used to listen on my Walkman, I think that listening to the music through earphones gave me a deeper appreciation.

Back, back way back when. Some people used to say Aphrodite and his style was cheesey dnb. But this shit gives me goose bumps. Takes me back to 1997. 12 years old at school nicking tapes off older kids. Swapped my new denim Reebok classics for a slammin vinyl record bag. 10 Lambert & Butler for £1.40 fuckin have it!!!!!!

Will always be my favorite DNB DJ producer and mixologist. Gordon is one of those people that is a damn wizard behind the decks. Have watched him numerous times. Had him autograph every record of his I have. Even one he signed "I didn't make this" on a mash up record someone else made trading on his name. What an amazing person.

Wow....listening to you brings back memories. I remember hanging out with you at The Root in Boulder, Colorado in the early 2000s. There is such a huge crowd here in the 303 for electronic music in general that I feel a pioneer like you should come out here and give that other bass music a run for the money. DnB and jungle in a intimate club setting with top notch sound would bring out the old skool and nu skool heads out weekly! If Denver can be a mecca for Dubstep, why not re introduce this amazing sound to the 303 masses. Aphrodite my friend you are I amazing and iconic!
