Shooting a cinema movie is very expensive, and the budgets for box office movies in the United States usually costs 100 to 250 million dollars. Though the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, have delivered brilliantly on cinematic movies, we're still lagging behind in aesthetics and visual quality. CJI and Visual Effects which serve as a utilities to create realism on big screen have not been fully explored as Nigeria is a third world country, mostly impoverished and underdeveloped. So, most film makers lack the right amount of budget needed to finance a movie. Hiring big stars for a movie role don't come cheap either. Like you said, it should be fully established that the minimum wage for a star cast in a Nollywood movie must be at least 15 Million Naira. But there are not too many high budget cinema movies out there. So, many actors have resulted into casting in low budget films with very little pay.
One Nigeria actor very popular i see him for were i day buy road side food for Asaba and him come buy food n people for there day play with him showing that he is good customer, wen this guy buy food finish i day wait make him enter his car but my guy leg am i was surprised

As for me I won’t say much but one thing is sure that nollywood actors are not paid well and the payment also differs, most of the influential actors has business and other works they get their money from, been/acting reach in a movie does not makes someone rich in real life so let’s not judge this people hustling to get money as other human beings still hustle on the internet.
