You knew it was Friday and the weekend was here when Doc B and Diamond Kuts were playing club and house music on Power 99 during the Old School Lunch Buffet, Afternoon Mixtape, and the 8pm mixes on Fridays. Cosmic Kev and Diamond Kuts would continue playing those tracks Saturday Nights into Sunday Mornings. They still do.

@@IAGNOWHERE42From across the river in Jersey, Paulsboro, 2012-2022 Power 99 was great, used to listen to the Old School Lunch Buffet every day when I could even in class. They messed up when they moved Doc B from the 40 minute mix playing a mix of Hip-Hop/Rap classics to club music to the 20 minute mix playing mostly 🗑️ music with some throwbacks last year. I still listen to Doc B, Diamond Kuts, and DJ RL mixes especially on weekends. Also a longtime listener to WDAS who play Baltimore Club music on Saturday Nights and at midnight House and Dance Music.

Shout out to Diamond Kuts, DJ Doc B, Cosmic Kev, and DJ RL for introducing people up here to Baltimore Club music years ago. Along with Jersey and Philly Club, Classic House Music, and the usual Hip-Hop and Rap. Gen Z and listening to the mix shows on Power 99 since I was 10-11 years ago (2012). Jersey in the house.
