last year it was crazy just trying to get off the road. I understand why the neighbors were upset, they couldn't get in or out of their subdivision. BUT the car show takes place within his gated property anything outside of it is not of his problem. It is a 1 lane road both directions. ross has 100 acres right next door. If he hasn't started building on it yet. that needs to be the place for excess traffic to park and provide bus transportation too and from his estate.

I had a $2500 VIP ticket and couldn’t even park near the show because the roads were completely blocked over a mile away from the event. Hundreds of cars parked along the highways, people hiking down the shoulder and cops giving out tickets to everyone. I didn’t trust leaving my car unattended so I took the L and went home. They just wanted to sell as many tickets as possible without any concern for patrons, logistics and safety. I’ll never go back to another Rick Ross event and I understand why the city told them no.

The fact that Envy's show is for the PEOPLE and he's always said that - automatically makes his show better!👏🏽 he makes it accessible & affordable! Keep up the good work Envy!

On the real yawl, Envy’s car shows are super dope, and made for black communities amongst the US. Rozay’s car shows are dope as well, but they are STRICTLY for RICH PEOPLE who come there to network, and get business. It’s not that there not on the “same level”. They cater to different crowds. Myself personally I would rather go to Envy’s car show over Rozays anyday, unless I had an alterior motive at Rozays car show. #SaluteToEnvy 🫡

The Fayetteville county or whatever was right to deny Rick Ross department. When you have an event, a large event that draws a huge crowd you have to make sure that people who come to that event will be safe. By that I mean you have to make sure if police if fired medical personnel need to get in to that area they can. You also have to make sure the residence of the area can go about their day comfortably. Some big celebrity can’t just decided to throw a concert in the middle of the street because it would block up the street it will prevent people from getting home. So back in the day Michael Jackson couldn’t just say I’m throwing a concert on first Street everybody be there. No you have to follow proper permitting procedures. This allows the government to get ready for you to be there then bring an extra police for that day because we ultimately want people to be safe and comfortable. I don’t think he’s right to even give the impression that he’s proceeding ahead despite being denied something. They were right to deny him the permit, because as the young woman hosting pointed out when they have these, this is shut down the neighborhood neighborhood that other people live in, and they wouldn’t be able to go about their daily lives. Think about this for a minute what if that happen to be prom weekend like it is for so many people right now and he held the event and someone going to prom that weekend suddenly couldn’t get out of the house to go to their prom. What if somebody had a cancer treatment that day and they couldn’t get out of the house to go to their cancer treatment. I can name any number of events that could’ve occurred having this car show could cause problems for resident of the area and that shouldn’t be allowed. Not too long ago we saw a roof collapse her house because it was over capacity at a college party. Dozens of people were injured as a result. This is why we have building codes in permit standards because we want to ensure safety of people.

I live in Dixie le on which is across the street from Ross and i really hope they shut this down. I couldnt go anywhere last year not to mention the noise! Its ridiculous. This event would be better served at the Atlanta motor speedway rather a neighborhood. If you're rich forever, this isnt a big deal to move it to the speedway🤷🏿.
