I'd really love a tracklist so I can look deeper into the artists in this, so incredible. Anyone know any of these artists that make this type of music?
Sounds like some old skool fazo Zapp Brick and a bunch of others i could name all their music combined to make a mix some kiddo im not really knowing but this is the type of music i listened to back in the day it all sounds familure to me George Duke and Stanley Clark Micheal Henderson Bernard Wright
@@sactownsteelers6748 Not sure to understand what you're saying... 1/If you mean "well they all use sampling, thieves!", well many artists use that technic since the 90s, there's bad samplers and brilliant samplers also, and it's not a big deal, and with the name I listed it's not totally accurate(they compose too) 2/If you mean sounds a lot like this, yeah basically, Boogie electro funk artists, same vibe!
The song is She's Got That Vibe - R. Kelly but I can't seem to find this particular remix. Fucking crazy I've been trying to find it for 4 years now...
Being an OG popper from the 70s and 80s who decided what is poppin music we popped mainly to funk but a real good popper hit to anything slow jams were used for timing then electro funk'. But its funny how the gen after the Original poppers era decided to come in and rename moves dictate originate styles that were allready established as if they didnt steal everything from us. In our day there were rules No stealing moves ive yet to see any popper with any originality everything they do we did or were the ones who made the move which by the way gives these guys limited moves making these wanna bs repeat their 'moves in their routines but have the audacity to call poppin john and others of his era the greatest poppers ever_ lmao not even close the difference is alot of the greatest didnt get the recognition these cats get thanks to the internet. That they have and we didnt. Thats why being from LA and knowing a locker helped a 2nd class popper bogaloo shrimp the role in the movie there was no auditions for the best poppers to try out. They see the first one they looked at and signed him yet the best went unnoticed but from your own city. In my era shrimp, taco were alright dancers but hardley the best. If we had the tech these poppers have or dance competions they do now nobody would know shrimp and taco. Being from LA and knowing a locker got them in. Legends and the Greatest poppers came from the 70s and 80s not cats like poppin john or anybody from his era who copied and stole our art and got famous for something we made and developed the moves they do were not all basic they were made by individuals and seen and stolen. I dont see how they can call these new poppers the greatest when what they do it was done and made by us. I know plenty of OG poppers that were way better than shrimp taco poppin john or anybody from his era shit in my day poppin john would be the first dude id be calling out. Bcos i took pride in my art 8 hrs a day practices always working on my routine and making new moves these new poppers dont know everything there are plenty of great OGs with moves these dudes never seen or heard of like the dinosaur or Megalon bugs bunny or jason and the argos and all the tutorials on here is crazy . it started in the hood an art we developed not for everyone but of course its a white guy teaching everyone on youtube they think they own everything anyway. Its funny how 2nd class hitters copycats and wanna bs get all the credit and titles for something they copied and stole from us and i say us bcos im an original popper from 77 to now i was there from the beginning from the bay to Sactown worked my way up through the ranks fought been jumped working to be the best and when your the best and people see the work its the best but to have cats come after you and take glory for something that aint theirs and to call them the Greatest is insulting and no matter what anyone believes in my era in my prime i destroy poppin john and anybody else he recruit i can name ten homies who would destroy any popper they have from their era. We would of called them poppin thieves everything they do they got from us
It's hard to find guys like you to have them teach the real stuff as much as we want but some knowledge traveled overseas to Romania where this was so new but so catchy and fun, very few had the chance to learn the right way, they'd do it mostly for social validation, that made me wanna learn the real moves but back in 90's and 00's there was no info that we could get grip on, we had to record tv shows and slowmo parts of dance to steal moves because we couldn't have our own style until like years of practice and beat studying. And today we can hardly say we have a community but not like in the old times (for us was the 2000's when breaking came along media and in our society.) I wish I knew you and the big guys back then when I was a teenager, like 15-20 years ago. But popping never dies!
