She's No crackhead. We dance to hiphop music DJ's played, not stand around and spectate. That how you know a DJ was dope. Mell Star is Dope. You cant even enjoy yourself cuz technology is in your way.
That drummers beat routine! Dam man! I'm 20 years old and been djing for 10 going on 11 years and I never heard anyone break that break beat down so insane!
Jazzy Jeff was the 1st to do it. Cash Money did it also before Mell did. Not taking any credit away from Mell cuz he's nasty & doesn't use headphones for a reason

@@DiamondDigitalDash Well, Jeff doesn' t do that many blends, either. He uses mainly echo out transitions these days which he mastered but I prefer a good blend, though.

I wanna see him using individual records.no laptop and bullshit.i dont get how this is a skill doing it like this.i guess im from the old school and dont understand this shit they be doing today.kinda like the way the direction rap has went also.
They're using the technology available to them to take their craft to the next level, can you really blame them? Sure, it makes certain techniques easier to execute but it also makes a whole lot of stuff possible that wasn't before. Plus, who wants to carry around crates anymore when you can have 100x the size of your vinyl catalogue on a hard drive? There's still a place for analog DJs but thats how I look at it
