@@youngshozy Is the dad of most of the rappers of that 90's ganster rap well written dudes like Nas , Prodigy , Khadafy , Raekwon , Ghostface , Necro , and so many others...He even still inspire many rappers , from this era guys like Griselda , 38 spesh...BTW his album with 38 Spesh ; " Son of G rap " , is just amazing.
@Chris Paul Don't forget the GZA and Inspectah Deck. Like MF DOOM, GZA also collaborated with DJ MUGGS and killed it. He keeps his rhyme schemes simple, but his lyrics and wordplay are unparalleled in my opinion. Inspectah Deck just comes out with the greatest verses of all time like in Triumph, Assassination day, Above the clouds and Guillotine.
@@ghettoasfuckxp But Kool G Rap is literally the one Big Pun took his style from (did you know that?).. When Pun met G Rap for the first time, he kneeled down & kissed his ring (true story).. Rappers like Pun, Nas & Eminem all studied Kool G Rap's style at some point & successfully built their own lanes..

DOOM and G Rap!!! Two of the dopest, most complex, influential guys to ever touch a mic!!! G Rap's multi's are always on point, he was way ahead of his time with that always!!! And DOOM's raw, monotone way of delivering the wittiest, nerdiest bars in the most sinister, hard body way!! Dope!!!

@@marshallsadowski1934 I recently heard the album 4,5,6 and I was blown away, I think it is now one of my top albums of all time, one of my favorite mc's is MF Grimm who I got really in to recently and that led me to that album, then I kind of forgot about Kool G for a while cause I was so in to Grimm, til I found this song. Haven't heard much else by him what are your favorites?
