It’s not about that they are being disrespectful they think they can just do what they want with their sound When they need clearance when I heard him call himself scarecrow I got mad af I can call my self jayz or Tupac
If Paul and Juicy are gonna sue $uicideboy$ then they might as well sue Doomshop, SpaceGhostPurrp, Ramirez, Lil Ugly Mane, and any other rapper that's sampled Three 6 which happens to be a good portion of the underground lmao. Besides we gonna sit here and act like Three 6 didn't rip off samples from DJ Zirk and DJ Squeaky?
On top of this, Paul was trying to sue Travis Scott because he used "Fuck the club up" as a chant in one of his songs which is an ode to Tear Da Club Up and he was also trying to sue Trippie Redd for sampling a Three 6 song. Also I heard that Koopsta's estate was suing Paul for unpaid royalties. So what does that say about DJ Paul? He's a dog you do not trust..
@@Guerrillachop I mean he basically was bruh juicy j older brother he might not have acknowledged but he most definitely was around em majority of the time
@@nvnchez they usually don't respond to bullshit, they don't need to address negativity Notice how everyone is talking shit about them n they don't respond. Drama free
@@Runmindrun nah that's just how they are they let the music speak for itself . I've been a fan before their music blew up , they've allways been like this . Suicideboys so far only has one real interview , that was before their music took off.
I mean that's the beauty of owning the rights to your music. He doesn't have to count on someone eventually paying him..he can get his money legally anytime he wants.
Like there was going to be no one else that comes out in the new age trying to be like their “idols.” It was inevitable, the Memphis rap style is my absolute favorite. And the fact that $B and their group of guys Ramierz in particular are trying to bring back the vibes. But shakewell, night Lovell, germ, and Chetta are good too
Yeah its pretty scummy they went after $b because theyre the biggest modern day memphis rap influence. I was so stoked when scrim and juicy j did some music together just for him to be like “nah fuck you for sampling us” if its about the sample money and not getting paid for them then ig they still could’ve handled it alot less dramatically
This hasn't aged well. $B are blowing up!! and if you haven't paid attention, $B released 4 new projects without having to sample Three6. and each project just kept getting better.
The problem with seed of 6 is that they came from money. $uicideboy$ came from the mud. I can feel the pain from $B. Also 3-6 sampled the shit out of Memphis rappers to get their sound.
That is absolutely 100% not true. Only one who had money was loco. Inf grew up in the hood, trigg and rebelyus are legit Memphis gangstas with ties. Rebelyus has a song with blue davinci where vice lords, kings, and gd’s all rap together.
They are Memphis rappers themselves. It was all local underground Memphis stuff. They all have sampled each other and worked together. It's not the same as Suicide boys completely biting off the established group of Three 6 Mafia.
i think theyll talk this out. neither group is stupid. both gems of hip hop. 3'6 is og af, and $B are new age. but neither of them are dumb, and i do belive they both love and respect each other. within the next couple weeks they will squash this.
DJ Paul just mad because Suicide boys takes his shit and makes it 100% better, they’ve been working together for like three years. He’s a snake for suing them.
Atleast he's honest about it. That's why I don't understand why $B felt it was a good idea to complain. They should've realised Paul could sue at anytime...hell Paul may have even set them up for failure. Groom them by saying he loves them, give them the impression that they can sample his music, let them do about a 100 songs, then sue them for everything they got.
I know suicide boys and ramirez also bit lil grimm and children of the corns stuff also i think ski mask troopaz too and some of you probably don't know them old Memphis underground their were others like three six in those days but had their own sound and thing.
DJ Paul is sueing $uicideboy$ not really TrippleSixxx He pretty much said it “When that new Rolls Royce comes around then I’ll probably give them a call” Guess DJ Paul wants to now cash in on $uicideboy$ now
Meaning he’s running out of money and his music isn’t doing to good currently and sees that $b are popping off with their music and is gonna try to squeeze money out of them
@Cee Z ye i gues but getting mad is different from suing, also they 100% knew about most of those songs if not all after producing, rapping and chilling with each other... these dudes are just looking for some quick cash
.....because you are cool with people using your stuff abit and it makes sense since your work get shared but to no have any money or anything from alot more then just 5 songs thats when even you would be upset. music as a business is very much based on the value of your work and ability to protect it once you get to a certain level.
To be fair, they’ve made a lot of great songs without sampling Three 6. And they did help Juicy with 2 of his mixtapes and got nothing for it. All of this is bullshit tbh.
For Fucks sake people are gonna defend Three 6 because they are OGs and that’s understandable. But just straight dissing $B because of this is stupid. They’re both good imo. I love them both. I think they’re both in the wrong.
Squiggles I really do think that $B did fuck up by not approaching juicy j with a contract or legal documentation honestly but juicy j fucked up too by suing guys that looked up to him
Norwegian Nationalist a vast majority of $b is mixtapes, they have 3 “albums” + scrims solo. quite a lot of the samples from 3 6 were on mixtape that were free. your argument doesn’t validate what you said
@@TreyD713 Dj Squeeky (and Zirk) were not sampling triple six (in the beginning of their careers) they were making their own original music, and Triple Six decided to use vocal samples from both Squeeky and Zirk which led to beef between both sides. It was hypocritical of them to sue but I mean $B are using Triple Sixes vocal samples so they have every right, just a dick move and just makes them look like money-hungry hypocrites.
I’m a fan of both groups I grew up on 36mafia the similar sounds on “Yung Death Lil Life” is why I started listening to them.. the influence is huge I mean skrim went by scarecrow and everything
36 are a bunch of snakes. Ironic that they’re suing $B for using 35 samples when 36 got sued earlier this year for using over 150 samples. Might as well sue every underground artist who’s been inspired by that sound. $crim was a life long 36 fan, always cited them as his biggest inspiration and chose to pay homage and respect to them through his music. That’s why 36 decided to mentor them earlier in their careers, while juicy had $crim produce 2 mixtapes for him FREE OF CHARGE and gave $B a verbal agreement to continue sampling 36’s work back in 2018. 36 knew of $B since at least 2017, when DJ Paul offered them $500 per show to open for him on tour, which they obviously declined. Paul also asked them to tour with seed of 6ix, $B turned that down too, so seed of 6ix straight up stole a handful of $B beats for their 2018 mixtape, $uicide 6ix, which $B wasn’t pleased with. Paul also claimed that $B stole their image when $crim referred to himself as “yung scarecrow”, a reference to lord infamous, who called himself “the scarecrow” or “scarecrow tha terrible.” $crim didn’t even directly take the nickname or image, he used it to pay respect to infamous, one of his idols. It’s not uncommon at all for rappers to nickname themselves after other artists, athletes or movie stars. For example, meechy darko of the Flatbush zombies refers to himself as “durt cobain” and “2cup shakur.” All that being said, fuck 36. This is a shady move. They knew of $B and mentored them for at least 2 years, then switched up on them for money. Fuck that.
@Louis Gaskins U can't call Dj Paul with out saying 3 6 Maifa. For example if they interviewed juicy J I would still say 3 6 Maifa bc they're a legendary rap group do u feel me now my brotha? Lol
@Louis Gaskins I feel u , but that's after the group my brotha but before. They made a name during the 3 6 Maifa era , that's why they will be forever called 3 6 Maifa .
@@nsdtgabe4082 IDGAF Suicideboys so much better than juicy and seed of 6.. period... They mad cos they didnt get the same hyped outcome for their tracks.. yeah I get it a lot of people use samples for songs.. if we went back in history every song comes from something
I fucken respect dese guys so much especially Dj Paul! and gangsta-boo, also rip koopsta nicca, rip lord infamous. I seen yall twice in concert and it was one of the best nite of my life!
The craziest thing is suicideboys only has like 3-4 songs with more than 40 million views so how did they sample your songs and have 50 million views here and 60 million there makes no sense
The song he talking about at 4:23 is Coma on $B new Orleans album, it sampled creeping out da kut... DJ Paul released that song on his album m4L that same year.... the song was originally a playa Fly sample but paul re did it.
Suicides original fans arent kids I'm 28. They blew up in 2017 and that's when all the goofy kids started listening. I personally dont like the new fans cos they think suicide and depression is cool
@@d2msta38 I can see where u say that but they have really heavy punk and rock influences. There were more than 10 Memphis artists trying to sue three six for takin there shit too.
Lmfao how tf are you saying they running out of money when a bunch of artists sample them and they actually ASK FOR PERMISSION AND PAY FOR SAMPLING so no they ain't running out of money......also suicide bitches are being sued for stealing lord infamous's nickname so making money off a dead man and sampling without permission is ok?
Haven't you heard about Raider Klan and spaceghostpurrp? because he's the one who started bringing the phonk sounds back and paved the way for modern underground scene
Imagine a rap group mad at anyone for doing the same thing they do themselves. They should be proud. But instead only worried about money. Everyone triple 6 samples should sue them as well then.
Nah they steal the flow, sounds, samples, even lyrics. People like space ghost purrp , asap , or raider klan either use samples for the hook and pay homage or get permission from three 6 or just simply have juicy j do the sound and/or adlibs
Actually i dont think the Project Pat line was paying respect to 3 6. Yeah $B were heavily influenced by them and used a bunch of their samples but 3 6 Mafia actually tried suing them for using the samples. I think they're actually throwing a little bit of shade.
I swear...anyone can take some samples and lace em with 808s..but in the 90's/early 2000s when Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Tommy Wright, or Paul & Juice talked about Riding in Chevy's, toting hammers and shit you knew they were about that life. This cloud rapper kid generation is cosplay rap
All you saying $B deserve to be sued and all that, look into DJ Squeeky, DJ Zirk, and how Paul and Juicy jacked their entire swag, samples, drum sounds, etc. Or how Paul and Juicy fucked over so many of their associates that they were the only two left for their last album I love Three 6 and think $B are mid, but the hypocrisy im seeing in this whole situation is absolutely astounding
I grew up on Memphis rap, whenever new styles bubble you will see contemporary artists in the same region come up with similar styles Paul & Juice worked with all those artists so of course they took shit..I do agree with the bad business thing because their empire could have been even greater if the kept all those dudes under one umbrella. But it's like saying midwest artists Bone, Twista, & Crucial Conflict all stole from each other. Of course they had their clashes just like the inner conflict between the memphis artists because they all came out and up at the same time. I still say that type of situation is different than a newer group damn near basing their whole sound off older authentic style/sound such as the memphis inspired production.
😂😂😂😂they thought he was a good guy just because he doesn't wear suite or some, music business is real don't just go around and play with some people that's a fact
Heck yeah! Vlad always coming through with the big interviews. Anytime DJ Paul is on something, imma be there to support. Seed Of 6ix have a very bright future in the rap game 🤘🏽
Paul just mad $B turned down a whopping 500 bucks to open for him.. They made juicy 2 tapes for free that made him plenty.. Kind of funny they was all cool with them until they got paid and now wanna pull this shit... They won't get 6 mill but will get a settlement..Kind of funny they made over 400 songs and plenty of em don't have 3x6.. $B shouldn't got mad about them using they beat though.. I see everybody side but it's just weird they wait until now to do it..
Funny you left out the part about SucideBeyotches coming at Paul's kin in Seed Of Six -- that's some audacious shit to be mad at when your whole sound is damn near based of Paul & Juicy production,
Why is he suing them for 6 million tho it’s crazy on both ends Dj Paul is an O.G. but that’s not a good look they should just drop the lawsuit and rekindle the friendship $uicideMafia 🔥😈
Yo dj Paul just salty cuz he ain’t making it no more look at em taking interviews on vlad tv Somone in his caliber should be in like the breakfast club or on sway in the morning
Juicy is more famous when he is at the crib doing nothing then sb ever will be... literally nobody heard that they produced a track for him and was like "oh im gonna listen to juice for the first time now"
Idk why everyone talking crazy in these comments. Paul was super respectful talking about it even saying how much he likes their music. Seems more like they pushed it by messing with seed of 6ix for sampling them on a free mixtape so Paul wanted to make a point. Seems very fair to me
Man DJ Paul said he’s on retirement And if he needs cash for new Royce he’ll call for some cash it’s either cause he’s not doing so good for him self or he’s turning broke He needs to understand if he’s on retirement plan or some sort then he needs to respect those who are in a new generation lane If I was him I’ll say nothing Make a sample of my tracks and turn it into a song and see how lit it turned out I mean I would like is someone made a sample from my songs and turned it into Not only my old song and new lit asf type shit, I’ll respect the new generation For looking and listening to my tracks and making something new Which means they all look up to me But this idk.... you gotta be creative be creative that’s all I gotta say
@@colinjones8265 but he claimed every song has sampled three six when not all the songs sample three six I'm literally just stating facts. The most streamed songs they have "thanks for those sticking around", "Antarctica" and probably their most popular song "kill yourself part 3" doesn't have any samples from three six. I get what paul is saying but heres another thing I love three six but imagine trying to claim and act like a gangster in the songs yet sue like realistically that's the most un-gangster thing I've ever seen.
I fuck with Paul and the boys, but Paul is mad hypocritical saying Suicide can't make a song without Mafia, when Seed of Six can't SELL a song without Mafia. Corny
This whole interview is a shot at them like they absolutely started there career and if they need som $B they owe them it’s not true and goofy they need to retire they can’t call all this when they haven’t been relevant for 10 years
Yeah but dummies that dont listen to suicide jump on the band wagon anyway. Theyre best songs are and so it was and hard to tell for me. Which dont have any any 3 6 samples
