brett hood his beats dont really sound early 90s . he used alot of 808 drums and sub bass wich wasnt really used much till the late 90s and so on to the present. on the other hand , rappers such as nas or tupac in the early 90s , if you listen to there beats , they sound very break beatish and have funky bass lines and use more realistic drums. i hope this clears things up ? lol
the remastered joint is dope especially for the time but for me I definitely rock with the og version the most. Its like that raw gritty unclean style fits the feel of the track in general
@@Carlos-Freeze-Tha_Hated agree. Quality wise the remaster is amazing. I don't like the changes to the original track though. Thing taken out. Things added in. It's not a remaster it's a remastered remake.
INternatiol Beethoven yea evil pimp has mastered the art paul makes guitar beats now and ye'lls like lil jon but squeeky was the one that created it all.
Whyyyyyy am I JUST now hearing thissss 24 years later?! Shame on me! Trap/Southern Rap has a special place in my hearttt #TNBorn #GARaised 615/404 baby!
+MrRushbrown He means REMASTER - like he did with Volume 16: The Original Masters and DJ Paul & Lord Infamous - Come With Me To Hell Part 2 Remastered. Remixing is making a new beat. Remastering is making an old song sound WAAAAY better becuse technology has gotten so much better. Hes right - he needs to do that for all the old junts. I bump Volume 16: The Original Masters every damned day - they have all the original features - skinny pimp, gangsta blac, playa fly, etc. Remastered to modern day quality.
"But yo the devil got the advantage cause I'm full of da weed, He said stang on dem bitches like a bumblebee." This is a hidden gem in the Three 6 catalog for sure.
yo in 97 when i was 18 I said I was gonna be an "old 40 year old woman" still bumpin 3 six, subwoofers and all. Well needless to say I'll be 45 next week (and 40 is NOT old lol ) and yes, I still keep a system in my car and forever listening to Three Six #fanforlife #basshead
the end part where the dope deal gone wrong sends chills down my back. It's so brutally realistic, DJ Paul is a OG & his brother was the biggest dope dealers in one of the biggest gang hubs in the U.S. Memphis Tennessee. Coming from the 3rd world. Hearing those gunshots in the end takes me back everytime. Stay safe out there y'all. This the realest track I ever heard.
Buckshot Chief Lord infamous was the creator of three6mafia and the best rapper in Memphis and also he's also dj paul older brother....R.I.P. LORD INFAMOUS THE ROWDY BOUNTY HUNTER!....IT'S THE SCARECROWWW!!!!! #MAFIA!!!!
i'm still wondering what has happened to dj pauls voice... nowadays he sounds like some rock icon... don't like this... back in them days his voice was smoove as hell!
We bumped all these junts DJ was a Good in TN I still say the hardest by far is The Original Vol.16 summer 94, we was full of that blow and at 16 were getting it in riding 86' cutlasses and 90' box thanks on octavos and vougues tires
I was born in 1993, this shit was bumpin while I was a baby, now I'm bumpin in 2019 through the hood keeping this music alive, and I'll be bumpin in the year 2050 while I operate my flying car though the hood with my laser handgun on my side
That classic 3-6 sounds from 94 to 97 man just makes you appreciate the run they had from THE END to DA UNBREAKABLES when everything they dropped hit. That classic dark basement G Ride music love this shit even more now
im from africa exatly in morroco and im obssesed to this old skool songs of hypnotize minds: paul, juic, pat, lil wyte, la chat, koopsta knica, ugk, t rock.... real dirty south hip hop. for me they are like t wu tang of the south !! peace1
Paul needs to go back to this style, I think he honestly need to sit down and listen to his older music and bounce back on this..the laid back flow was on point..
Look how many views wideos on the right have, Memphis finaly getting recognition after all these long years. This only shows how ahead of the time this city was.
I have 28 DJ Paul and juicy J mixtapes that were converted to CD and even now I have one these old mixes in my car. Memphis has my favorite type of rap.
@DaYoungestStunna803 You just said probably the best comment i ever seen in youtube history i love how u ended it with..THESE NIGGAZ IZ....and your right because i think LORD INFAMOUS has the most interested flow i ever heard especially when he speeds his flow up and KOOPSTA KNICCA is the most versatile rapper ever.......LORD INFAMOUS the best rapper and DJ PAUL and JUICY J the real kings of the south and have already made the best beats ever in hiphop
One of my favorites. I think this one sound better than Part 2 on Mystic Stylez. It's so much harder. He used part of the first verse on Mindstate from the bonus CD off of Tear Da Club Up Thugz
