GOD!!!! I HAVE TEARS IN MY EYES!!! this album and movie shaped my entire being as I heard it when I was 14 (10+ years ago)... this helped make me who I am. I am SO grateful for having this in my life. all time classic. needs to be in a hall of fame
After I heard this album/saw the movie, I bought 2 high end turn tables. I spent 4-8 hours a day on them. Within one year I competed in a battle and came in 1st runner up for most creative. If it wasn't so damn impracticle to cart the equipment around.
At 1:30 "She seperated the skull from the body, and masturbated in front of it." At first she was shocked, which track she´s in, and how sharp cuts to deal it got. And it was told, she was used to listen for the first time to Q-Bert. Fatefully, with a knife in her hand, her body reacted "aachissipak". With closed eyes, she was snatchy dancing to the cuts - Suddenly, her boyfriend tooked the last. But she had no time to cry, she had to deal with these ruff cuts - With no conclusion in her mind, which dance moves to show up. This track was a new beginning, something big, that just had started.
this is the reason got a Numark portable Scratch Turntable because I couldn't afford the expensive turntables but wanted to be apart of the Scratch DJ scene I'm not new to SCRATCH DJ scene I've been Scratching on my Grandma's Turntable since I was 13 so I'm glad now that Numark makes affordable portable Scratch turntables
@DntMssWthTx This IS the original trank from Q's '98 album WaveTwisters. The take clip is a take from when they where filming the movie, which wasn't till '99/'00, and the movie was released in 2000. Movie was made based off of the album, and you can hear/see Q's evolution of his 90's style into his more tear-heavy, articulate 00's style.
Does anyone here besides me think of the classic PS2 game WWE Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain? The beat reminds me so much of one of those tracks that would play during a battle.
