I was in Space, Ibiza in 2004 and Rui came on the decks about 6am. He started off with a 15 minute build-up and then dropped this. The place erupted. It was a special moment! :)
As a retired nightclub doorman of 20 years I have fond memories of this song and getting down while working. As an old fart I still love this type of music.
@@tina-marielynch2964 They was the good days girl. You would have to of been there to understand. All doom an gloom at the min with all this covid shite. But........YNWA 😛👍
On December 26th 2004, I met my GF for the very first time. We sat in her car during a snow storm and she played this track (among many others) on her amazing car stereo. I was absolutely blown away by the vocals and general feel of the song. We are still together today. Hearing this brings back a lot of memories.
I'm 40..and I stil rimember every emotion I felt while I was danceing on this song...when i hear it now i fell it all over again!!!But it will never be the saim again...I'm gratefull i still have that in me!I think I can say the saim thing 4 you all!❣️
+sharon hill I am 44 soooo true what u say when it was still fun ............. been in the house scene is its beginning and then the birth of gabber in holland and still going strong but ur right tear creeping out i feel blessed to have been there in the beginning .... nothing can compare from england to holland, germany love parade etc was there for it all and Ibiza, Amnesia and traveling withe sp 23 in the nineties and all the countless raves illegal and legal till now but those were the days memories bless
+sharon hill 44 I am n life still fun,all be it listening to all the great tracks out there on utube,n yes the early days, they will be back full circle n just as good because its going to be the old skool peeps like us who remind the new generation what it was/is all about......
90s dance makes me happy and sad. Happy because I remember the first time I heard masterpieces like this. And sad because those days are gone, and the music will never be this good again😢
+Giles Newman It drove me nuts trying to figure out which song the Calvin Harris track screamed out - and here it is!! Maybe Calvin is just living in the past :)
To były piękne czasy... beztroskie zdobywcy odkrywcy Cudowne wspomnienia Pozdrawiam wszystkich wychowanych w latach 90 tych Klubowe życie. To był Najlepszy kawałek na after party
I owned a CD in 2005 that had this track on it I never knew the name or DJ of course it got lost like most CDs do but finding this track right now just brought tears to my eyes on August 7 2005 my husband Jacob Cole Passed away, the night before I put this track on.. It was the last song we ever danced to...thank you for always posting awesome tracks!
This song still takes me to a very special place in my heart. The 90s were unforgettable years where we danced our hearts out and went on a journey of the soul!
This track touches me so deeply in my soul. I literally can't stop the tears of joy pouring from my eyes. I'm so grateful for the incredible resonance it is ... I can't even .. I have no words.
I was 63 yesterday, lived through the finest musical decades, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Thanks to John Peel I started to get into house and trance in the mid 90's and on new years eve1999 I went to meet a mate of mine to get some acid.. He couldn't get any but asked me if I'd be interested in a pill instead. After Old Lang Syne I was walking home and happened to be walking past a nightclub and could hear the beat through the walls so I went inside. It was the start of 3 years of pills and being the first on the dance floor and the last off and this amazing track was part of that journey. To say I feel privileged is an understatement...
I played this track some weeks ago at some kind of a private rooftop party and a friend of mine celebrated his 26th birthday. 50 or more people dancing, they went nuts as soon this record came. Some new tunes are great as well; but I recognize that often the crowd tend to enjoy the old '90-'00s tracks more :)
This song is 20 years old already, damn, takes me back to when I was 21 and going out every weekend.. I remember entering the club and this was playing, girls were dancing, felt like I would be young forever ❤
Yup I was 21 when this was out. Was obsessed with it. Was on every mix cd I would make for party nights at my shared house with a work colleague and his friend and her work colleague.that would be the pre heading to the bar then club ...on a Wednesday /Thurs/Fri/ Sat with work the next morning. I miss those days. Carefree, dancing the night away, complete bliss. I'm still that age at heart but my body doesn't agree . F*** chronic illness 😢
Let's just face it, 90s trance just takes you on a different level and path of life, a level where your stress is no where in sight and you get lost in the music, 90s forever live on.
I could not agree more brother. I love getting lost in the music. As a 30 year old man still living at my mams house I can usually only listen to my faves with my headphones on! But she works every Wednesday and Thursday afternoons so that’s when I get the aux cable out! I like painting my face and pretending I’m at a rave listening to this song!I love music and I love partying ❤️
@@fredericolacueva537 thank you for that info I am ashamed to admit I have only just heard this song (where have I been??) but absolutely love it and it evokes strong emotions even though it has a disco vibe
First time I heard this I knew it would be a massive hit. So atmospheric, and the vocal is fantastic too. My mate who was a music editor for a big dance magazine played a white label of it and we both agreed it would be huge. Still one of my favourites to this day.
No talk of Depression back in the Day.. Music like this, and to all of us is like reaching out and holding on to an old friend... 90s... Loved it, lived it,... Keep on keeping on people..
I’m still listening to this in December 2023, absolute masterpiece this soundtrack never get tired of listening to it it’s got a vibrant soul positive feeling to it a classic tune🤘🤘🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏾💖💖❤️❤️💗💗👄👄👄👄🥂🥂🍹🍹🍾🍾🗽🗽🗽🗽
Aww this song.... The feelz... Reminds me of my teens. That euphoric feeling of when I first discovered clubbing and dancing.... Good friends, alcohol, beaches, laughs, boys and relationships, heartbreak and heartache .. Ahh the nostalgia. It's hard to describe, but it's beautiful yet painful
BEYOND TIME AND SPACE .. GUSHING GORGEOUS MEMORIES OF THIS BYGONE ERA .. I REMAIN ENAMORED WITH THESE TREASURED DANCE TUNES OF DISCO .. ALWAYS THE DANCING QUEEN .. B .. XOXO ❤
laurenalexandra haha the only reason I can think of to why I'd say that is was probably hungry listening to this song and I always stroll through comments so I thought I'd let you know what food I was thinking of :)
Absolute tune. Brings back so many good memories. I love that on these dance music channels (unlike most RU-vid videos), you never get anyone being insulting or rude. Everyone unites in appreciation of the music. Awesome.
Dom Loz Probably because most of us listening to these old tunes are also old lol. Not many kids would even know to search for half these classics we all love. I think these tunes will be able to stir up my emotions till the day I die.
I really left my self open to some of these comments, what a dick! Lol. But seriously you do get some twats on RU-vid and yes, most of them are kids. People who listen to these tunes are old you are right (is mid to late 30s "old"?).
Nathan Kight im 29 and you have no clue, iwas at 14 listening to what was mainstream in clubs and pirate stationss lot of knowledge of tunes for my age.let vinyl live forever as im a die hard vinyl lover and take a few jiggers and get fckd up love gumzy and froggie
+Costa72 Sd I got goosebumps too. It's a cold tingle up your back which leaves your skin raised, like when you're cold. You get it at extreme memories of pleasure. It's rare because it takes an unexpexted, intense experience.
+Costa72 Sd IT'S WHEN YOU GET chicken skin and some electricity runs through your spine and lights up the brain. I woner if other music genre causes this sensation.
2001, I was overseas visiting family. They took me to a doctor who gave me medicine to feel better. I remember on the plane home, I had a window seat, I was sitting for a while in the morning sun, this song playing in my head, and I was feeling so high! From than on, this song became like an anthem for me, always playing it in my head, making me feel high, putting me in a great place! Now it still makes me feel high, great classic!
Hello sarah please will you tell me the reason why you had to go to the doctors about when the doctor gave you medison and what year did that happen in.
Hello Sarha I wonted to know becouse I sean in the comments that your had to go to the doctors to get some medison to help you with something but I am hoping it is not to searyes four you I hope you are ok
@@paulhough5143 Hi Paul. Thank you Dear! I went back than to a very difficult high school, it was competative, very long hours and a lot of pressure... I got sick from it all and spent a year at home becaus of it. That was a long time ago though... Now I'm well, thank God. I hope you are well too. God bless you!
Never forget some of the best nights of my life. If you were in a club listening to this you were not being judged or have to worry about someone recording you with a mobile phone. It was all about the music & the ecstasy…..
Put this one on your playlist too. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LqCcdtM7Qe4.html Never gets old. Even better, see my club/trance/old skool playlist on my profile. Full of classics. Your dad will likely recognise quite a few.
I played this as last track at my first afterparty dj gig at 2008. Rui Da Silva was opening the party and i played closing set. It has always been special track for me and that party i remember for ever. Now 2024 my friend plays it in open air party and very important person in my life starts to sing all the lyrics from her memory. We found out how important this track is for both of us
The vocals rasp and clasp round that insistent throbbing beat. Pulsing with energy. The heat rises and the threnody continues . Insistent, persistent . Right to the end when the vocals dissolve and the music resolves itself and, then, suddenly ....stops. So the atmosphere drops. A shiver . For this song can deliver, and you felt it- and melt in it for those 5.05 minutes . A dance floor classic with no need of acid .
My partner and I at Butlins this weekend for 80's full on dancing for 3 nights , we're both 50 next year , 80's 90's nothing better than raving all night !!! Loving it
Trance is more about beautiful piano sounds build in ups and downs threw the progression of the music... This is beautiful in another way but not trance...
Huge clubs, underground vibes, beautiful warm girls, vodka red bull, sweat, swollen knees but you would never stop dancing and in the end, SUNRISE. F..k YES
I was never at a nightclub listening to this but I imagined looking out at the sun rise over the mediterranean sea drinking cocktails on a veranda with my best friends
This track brings me right back to Steering wheel Birmingham 1997 ... lurved up ;-) I seen this guy on the dancefloor i told him ..you ARE the man for me.... so funny thinking back.. doesn't really make much sense but all good :-))) .
