it makes me so happy to see people commenting here, loving this song and DJ Sharpnel as recent as 4 weeks ago! one of the most underrated hardcore producers of all time in my eyes! So ahead of his time in a way too, given that his entire discography would later birth a style heavily borrowing from his J-core samples and his style of production. One could argue his material is *Proto-Lolicore* in a big way!
I discovered DJ Sharpnel around 2005 and just recently I really got back into him. Turns out I missed his last live show and the end of the SRPC series. As I keep listening to classic after classic I can't help but feel a little sad that this is it - there won't be any new songs like that! At the same time, I'm very excited about his current VTuber/VRDJ project. It's a very different style but I really enjoy the new live performances. You can tell he's putting in a lot of effort.
absolutely true and same, but according to some of sharpnels older album covers (SEX sound of extreme and some others..) and having "lolicore" in his soundcloud favorites.... kind of worrisome. dont think they ever consider their own music that genre and it is tiring seeing people call jcore that but dudes not necessarily safe in this regard :/
ok, i know this opinion is definitely going to disagree with the popular notions in this comment section, but i actually really enjoyed this song at first until i heard the original. i listened to it a fair amount, because i finished the anime.. and i must say, there's a lot of genius pacing in the original that doesn't transfer over very nicely.. i'm guessing it must be really hard to do that considering they changed the entire genre of the song.. also, this has a really haunting, eerie vibe to it. i'm not scared of it, but i would add that for a plus to this song
