from watching this game alone i wouldnt say he has great touch. Everytime he needed i touch pass to float over the defense it was off target and sailed over the receivers head. very strong arm with alot of velocity though.. look forward to seeing him once the season starts im sure he'll knock the kinks out.

I really don't see it giving DJ problems in the next level. He's played on the highest level of hs winning a national championship at St John Bosco, and now at Clemson, with the 2 games He's started he absolutely balled out. With his size being 6'4/6'5 250lbs and he can move, I think he checks all boxes to be a #1 pick bro.

Coach Dabo and the offensive coordinator, coach Tony Elliott already went on the record that by far, DJ has the strongest arm they've seen over Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence which is crazy but I think DJ's strong arm along with his size aleves a lot of these scouts concerns with his unorthodox baseball throwing motion.

@@bmac9706 The reason why you may not see many qbs with this motion, even with a background in baseball, is cuz QBs usually play shortstop, third base, or in the outfield. Pitchers I think are usually just pitchers, and don’t usually dabble in other sports. Which makes it a little weird to look at when DJ is throwing these missiles with this motion. It won’t hinder him in the league, his inaccuracy was more from his footwork than anything.

DJ won his state championship and his offseason tourney but didn’t participate in the elite 11 because of a shoulder injury and CJ stroud beat Bryce young in the elite 11 one his state championship throwing 27-29 for 378 yards and 5 Touchdowns along with a rushing touchdown and no picks. Beat the top high school in his county by 38 and went from a 2 star with not a lot of scholarships to a 5 star with a lot of offers. One of those offers being Alabama. So care to explain why CJ was being offered by Alabama before Bryce

If u did you’d notice it wasn’t Bryce who lost the game, rewatch is and count how many drops the WRs had. Also they were out coached because their best WR was doubled all night. Bama didn’t offer Bryce because he was committed to USC, once they decided to push for him they got the visit and committment. Since we’ve only seen them in limited time, I think it’s fair to say Bryce is historically better.
