Not really an issue since I’m only shooting 4k30, rarely if u shoot 4k60fps or higher for slowmo, it would be at outdoor. I’ve been using it quite extensively on my First person video. Very handy
@@TheGreatExplorer Hi. I live in Brazil. Sorry for my bad English. I have the Action 2 Power Combo, but connecting the USB C mic (actually it's the same as the Osmo Action 1 which is a USB C adapter + the TRS). Maybe that's why it's not working. I haven't seen any video of Power Combo + External Mic on youtube. Thank you so much for your answer.
@@tukamaia No worries my friend, practicing makes perfect. I think maybe the TRS adapter might be a little tricky with compatibility. The one i'm using is with is an insta360 Type-C adaptor to 3.5mm, connected to my Lav microphone. But in most cases just for speaking and ambient noise, i think the internal microphone is actually pretty good.
@@TheGreatExplorer hi GE, you certainly know that there is a new lookup function of gimbal that if activated raises it a few degrees more. Also hubsan has introduced the setting parameter gimbal via PID but no one knows its purpose and how to use it. it would be very interesting.😃👍
How many microphones are on this one? 1 or 4? Guy told me there's 3 extra microphones on the Power Module, but I'm not sure about that. Is the overheating issue really bad as people complain about it? Does it have an SD Card reader for external storage?
Hello, the base model “power combo” comes with only 1 microphone. The overheating was quite scary at first, but after the firmware update, u could choose whether to go for higher temperature, or stop recording when it gets hot. Not as bad as it seems. The power combo comes with sd card slot as well, so its pretty easy to have ur recording done on the camera, or right to ur sd card, it even lets u export to ur sd card with just 1 click of the button. Pretty cool.
To add-on, even if it is just 1 microphone, the quality is way superior than the insta360 microphone. U can check on 1 of my videos on that. That microphone is good enough for capturing clear and bassy audio.
@@TheGreatExplorer checked your short video regarding the audio, but since I never owned an action camera before, I'm getting worried. It's great that the Power Combo has an SD Card Slot though, that solves one of my major problems. So to keep it simple, there's no 3 microphones on the power module, right? If not, I guess I'll have to save up a bit more and get the other combo with more microphones, especially for the windy days
@@bahaatamer1245 if microphone is something you might need to have clear voices, probably the other combo will be much suitable. But for the start, i think the Power combo is quite value for money. U can still upgrade down the road if needed to.
