great review! @6:07 choose a clockface- on screen display @6:32 bike boat driving- no problem keeping up @7:13 omni directional sensors- 360 degrees of protection, even sideways! @7:59 3x telelens- works brilliant, in focus
Seriously Darren, thank you, thank you, thank you... I subscribed about three weeks ago when I first started thinking about buying the Air 3 and have been watching your vids ever since. I bought mine on Sunday, 12/10/23 and have been enjoying it since. Today, I binge-watched four of your videos - the serious ones (waypoints, active track, etc) Your information is put forward in such an interesting and informative way AND has helped me so much, that as a Boston Red Sox fan, I am going to totally ignore you're wearing a Yankees hat in a number of your videos!!! 🤣😂😅
When I draw the square around the subject, the three options that pop up at the bottom of the screen include active shots, but not active track. How do I change that settings so that it allows me to choose active track?
Thank you for making such detailed, informative vids. I became a subscriber because of this video. Just ordered the Air3 and ND filters. Should arrive in a few days. Question/Request: Do you plan on releasing a video covering the "Waypoints" feature? I love to plan a waypoint route using the finer details (altitude, angle, combining with a preset, etc.). In iny event, thanks for your time and efforts. You're doing a stellar job!
In my experience the tracking with the M3P is mostly a miss, even in spotlight. From the reviews I’ve seen the Air 3 isn’t any better. Are all your shots using tracking or manual mode?
Great vid - thanks for making it! Does the 50m limit apply just to activetrack, or does it affect the other focustrack modes as well, in particular spotlight? Ta.
tracking bike, people walking are fine but not the car on the highway, it lost when moving over 40 miles/h. tracking the boat on the water is very risky! the drone is closer to the land might be OK but not 2 miles away from the land due to the battery life and landing issue I have tested with my mini 3 pro
Not many reviews talk about active track for motorcycle riders that's where I find dji really struggling my Air 2 simply is not able to do active track when I ride my motorcycle. It is losing the subject even at low speeds. That is where skydio stands out I only wish to be able to afford it.
Oh really? That's disappointing. I do a lot of off-roading in really scenic locations that I want to record. At least with the Mini 3 Pro we can get it to follow us without losing us thanks to third party software that tracks via a GPS link to the controller just like the Skydio. The downside is that it can't go as fast as the Air 3.
Love your videos, Could you do a few videos on how you get permission to fly in the different countries you go to. A lot of places seem to make it really hard or you read of situations where people think they were covered but still got prosecuted or there drone confiscated
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, A tale of a fateful trip That started from this little pond Aboard this tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailing man, He loved to fly his drone He launched the DJI Air 3 To show what could be done. The drone tracked like a champion, The tiny drone was tossed, If not for the courage of the fearless pilot. The Air 3 would be lost would be lost, the Air 3 would be lost. Ahoy Captain Bligh! What method did you use to land/hand catch the Air 3 on your 3 hour tour... a 3 hour tour...
@DMProductions Yessir! Air 3 compared to Mavic 3 Pro video please! I feel thar if you don't require the Hasselblad - or you don't have clients that demand ProRes from either Mavic 3 Cine/3Pro Cine, then Air 3 is damn near perfect. There is a REASON DJI released Mavic 3 Pro first. I suspect many would stick with Air 3, if your output is all RU-vid, Instagram, and the rest. I LOVE my Mavic 3 Pro, but I admit I don't NEED the Flagship. That's OK. I can get 70%+ back on DJI Drones if I need to sell. Mini 3 Pro/Air 3/Mavic 3 Pro
I don't see what's stopping then from putting the updated version of Active Track on the Mini 3 Pro and Air 2S. Seems like they're just holding back because they need to give people more of a reason to buy the Air 3. The same thing with the improved image processing. We get fantastic video from a 1/1.3" sensor because of the software ,- they could give the Mini 3 Pro that same software and we'd have a killer mini drone, but it seems like they are playing all of these games artificially restricting things to the Air 3 to make the Air 3 look like it's a big step forward when really it just seems rushed to release. I have a feeling the project manager probably wanted to do more with it, but the accounting department said it has to be released by this quarter. It looks like an incredible drone, don't get me wrong, it just doesn't seem like the normal big step in hardware and features that we've come to expect from subsequent versions of DJI products.
@@Gordonbanksapp yeah, for me I'm usually traveling so I need it small and light, and often I need it under 250g to meet the regulations of different countries and regions. It would take a whole lot to get me to go above a 259g drone to begin with. These are just software features though for the Active Track and the improved image processing, so they could let us have them on the Mini 3 Pro if they wanted to with a firmware update, but they won't because they want to sell Air 3s. And listen, I understand that just because it's free to distribute the software, doesn't mean it was free to develop - and I would happily pay a significant fee to get those software upgrades on my Mini 3, but selling a whole new drone makes more money than selling a software expansion.
How do you like the screen on the controller? Would I find it better than my 5th generation iPad mini? How does it do in bright sunlight? Thanks, I liked and Sub'd too!!
03:20. A piece of advice: If you really want to increase the number of subscribers and sell your LUTs, make sure your claims are in accordance with the images you choose. It goes to credibility.
my air 3 tracking is absolute rubbish, the drone flies from side to side like a drunk. I have a Mavic pro and Mavic 2 which are far more stable. The footage of air 3 active tracking me on foot and bike is unusable.
