Thank you Jeremy for taking your time to prepare and share this very detailed, informative and enjoyable drone comparison video. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated. I’m in the decision process of choosing my first drone and I am leaning towards the Air 3 over the Mini 4 Pro. I think that by being a bigger and more powerful and stable drone with more camera capabilities it would give me more room to grow and improve without feeling the need to upgrade. I don’t have a problem with registering even though I would begin as a recreational flyer and move to Part 107 when that would become a bigger benefit to my needs. I don’t plan on any international travel so I’m not worried about the size or flight restrictions. I do live in a coastal area so higher gusty wind could be an issue that I agree that the Air 3 would do better in. I do consider the 70mm lens as a great option for capturing drone footage from a quieter distance that doesn’t disturb others as much. Your video is great and very helpful to me. Thank you 👍😃
Thank you for dropping us a long comment. I think you're quite spot on with getting the Air 3 as your first drone. It is a very capable drone, it will definitely hold up on its own during windy conditions, and because you said you live in a coastal area, I would probably go for the Air 3.
Think that subscribers like us may take these videos for granted and often overlook the many hours/days/weeks of hard work, sweat, and even tears (sometimes blood) that go into planning, producing, and editing these high-quality videos. All of this effort is 100% dedicated to educating others, giving feedback and sharing knowledge. It's truly not a small feat to produce a Jeremy video, an achievement in itself every time.
Just for information. The DJI RC-N1 (RC231) controller (which I use with my DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone) obviously have to support OcySync 3 / 3+ as the DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone only have OcuSync 3+. So, I think the OcuSync 3+ might be backwards compatible with OcuSync 3. And then it might just switch between OcuSync 2.0 and OcuSync 3.0 depending on the drone that is connected. I think a firmware update to that controller made it possible. And lastly. The only reason the Mavic 3 Pro is so much more expensive over the Air 3, is most likely because of the Hasselblad camera. I think that the Hasselblad camera in the Mavic 3 drones is pretty expensive. But then I think the Air 3 is more comparable with the normal Mavic 3 drone (DJI is not selling it though) and not the Pro version. EDIT: The whole Mavic 3 Pro camera module costs around 840 dollars brand new on eBay and the whole Air 3 camera module cost 419 dollars brand new on eBay. So yeah.....
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. Do you prefer to have a drone to travel with, or do you need to have the best quality shots at all times. If having a drone to travel is priority, then get the Mini 4 Pro, If quality is your priority, then Mavic 3. Tell us what you got in the end.
I just ordered the AIR 3 Fly More Combo, I already have the Mini 4 Pro Fly More combo + batteries, with RC 2 Controller. I also have the AIR 2s fly more combo with RC Controller, & FPV Drone fly more combo. I ordered the Integra goggles Motion 2 Combo with the AIR 3, so I can fly FPV with the Mini 4 Pro & AIR 3. I ordered the AIR 3 with regular controller because I already have a RC 2 Controller for my Mini 4 Pro. The AIR 3 looks awesome.
I'm interested in getting my first drone and I'm considering the "Air 3". Do you think that "DJI" will be coming out with an "Air 3S" and if so should that be a reason to wait?
Hi there, we think if you are interested in getting a drone at this very moment, the Air3 will certainly be a great option. DJI will probably come up with a Air4, but it will at least be till August 2024. It will be very silly to quickly cannibalise their own product line so quickly.
Thank you for your enthusiastic, clear and honest explanation. Keep up the good work. The Air 3 will definitely be my first drone. But first get my license!
@@JeremyToh I will receive license in next week . Yesterday completed the Training from DGCA in India. So don't having exact idea where i am going to fly it . If i get the professional orders i will definately do it. Next month i am going to Bali . So suggest me one more thing If i go to buy Any drone in India it gets double in price. Can i purchase it outside India?
Sorry I don’t know what a DCGA license is, but if you’re flying recreationally the Mini 4 Pro is a good option. I haven’t been to India, so I don’t know if the drones would be cheaper. There’s plenty of options on Google to find out the best price. What professional order are you getting?
"Paw-shuh" 🤣 We were a bit worried that the Porsche segment was a bit too long, but we're now glad everyone seems to enjoying it. Thanks for tuning in.
I would disagree and say that theres really no beginner drone. If anythigb the bewer drones are more beginner froendly hecause of the 360 anti collision
Love your style of presenting (immediate Like & Sub)... couldn't help laughing at your labels on your scales :D. Never owned a drone before and in that weird rabbit-hole phase of deciding between a Air3 or Mini4 pro. The latter may suit my needs, but concerned about buyer's remorse.
