In fact, there won't be any, because in France when you want to restore this kind of building which is classified as a historic monument, you come up against the Monuments de France which with your money and without giving a penny of help , make you crumble under specifications that are impossible to keep without leaving all your money there. From the contact that a building is classified in my country, in the event of restoration you do not have the right to use modern techniques and materials, you must redo everything identically with the same old materials and know-how outside of price ... So it remains in ruins and sometimes the locals use it as a stone quarry even today... Welcome to France, the country ruled by madmen. They are only restored if it is worth it, so not in ruins , because the majority of the ruins of castles and other mansions in France will remain in ruins for a long time, as long as the specifications are not revised downwards to restaure it .
So incredibly gorgeous, what a shame, to restore a tremendous job. But would be amazing! So hate to see it be destroyed or continually be neglected. Wish I was a billionaire to take on the project, because it would cost a fortune, just the architecture is heartbreakingly beautiful... The setting, gorgeous, like out of a dream....
it is actually impossible to properly restore it because of the fire that happened. Fire to stone is like rust to a boat. It changes the stone on a molecular level. so just saving it is the best you can get and very worth it.
It is not impossible but they will need to focus on a small part at a time, fix that & move on when all the essentials in that area are done to ensure its survival. First stop the tree roots from doing further damage. Make small repairs to the chapel roof. Assess the gatehouse & look at repairing the gatehouse roof.
I can tell you that when the fire broke out, it was when the family was preparing for a grand party. This means guests travelled by carriages for miles, to stay for a days-long event. It was known as rather a party house. Anyway, when the fire broke out, the family and servants hustled to push all the family precious items to the windows and they pushed them out the windows and into the moat. Trust, that moat has been drained and pillaged many a time
why so much dramatism for an old big oligarch's house? i mean it's rlly beautiful ofc. but it's not like this castle was built by good king who loved his ppl.
La véritable histoire de cet endroit est bien triste ! Ce doit être le lieu du restaurant et laissé AU CALME ! ETAT! D'où obtiennent-ils l'argent de la restauration ?????? Qui a été sacrifié ?????? Zau gol !!!
