So glad to see this update. Yesterday morning I did a number of waypoint flights with no problem then yesterday afternoon updated to 1.13.8 and saw that I had forgot one of my waypoint flights so went back to fly that one and the app kept crashing but the drone would fly fine when not trying the waypoint mission. It now looks like it should work. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work.

Hi Gavin and all others. After several RU-vidrs, including Gavin, emphasized the safety of the new update, I also installed it, with version 1.13.9. Today I was doing a comprehensive test of all the features and functions. EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY AGAIN NOW ! Including compass, waypoints and hyperlapses. But it was about time that DJI's mismanagement of the last few days with the update orgy was finally satisfactorily corrected. I hope that my little contribution will be of use to many other drone pilot friends. Greez from Switzerland.

Mmm still not working even after 1.13.10 is a pain in the arse, not saving - often poi not saving , incorrect heights even though set correctly- crying out load

So many updates with so many problems/bugs. It is about time that they got the trainees/apprentices out of the software development and properly test what gets released to Joe public. I have not updated in months now and so glad of it. Thanks for the heads up though Gavin.

Gavin - LOL some things in the consumer drone industry never change! DJI, like other Chinese manufacturers, loves to rush out untested updates that are often half baked. Since my Hubsan 501 quadcopter days I've painfully learned to sit back and let you YT guys light the fuse on these 'new and improved' updates and wait for the fireworks to begin.😲🤣 My old guy take is, if it ain't broke don't fix it!😁 Fly App: 1.12.4 MP4 FW: 01.00.0300 RC-N2 FW: 01.01.0200 As always, cheers from Thailand young fella!

Yes, so is mine, over the years I have figured out so much and come up with many workarounds for DJI tech but I cannot get line to update either, I will wait until they push another update and see what happens and maybe make a video on it

Hello Gavin. great inf oas usual. are all these new updates als ofor the older drones like the mini 2 ? reason i ask is we all know that we are supposed to keep our drones and controllers up to date and when these updates come out they do not mention anything about the mini 2 ? is it advisable for everyone to update or just the latest drones..

Hi Phil, technically at the moment there are no updates for the older drones, I know what you are getting at as per our chat before - technically by keeping drones up to date it’s really meaning firmware updates, simple app updates as far as I’m concerned if you don’t want to update and everything is working stay as you are

Forgive me but , is this app relevant to the DJI MINI 3 or DJI MINI 2? Not sure what the latest App is for either of these two models and whether or not there are any issues, some of us still don't possess the expensive MINI4 PRO sadly🤔

They do if something is needed but from DJI's point of view I believe the mavic air 2 is very much end of life so whilst app updates may affect things it is unlikely to see any firmware updates

Well Steve, my RC is STILL stuck on 1.13.1, I have tried everything in my knowledge and workarounds to update it and nothing so I will wait for the next one and see if it updates if not I’ll speak to them

Any ideas why my mini 4 pro sounds like its stalling in mid air osculating in the air sounds like someone's revving a car on and of thing is bugging me I'm sure uts going to fall from the sky..😁👍👌 🇬🇧

Try checking your propellers, they might be bent, dented or worn down. Even if the drone didn't fall, the props might be damaged during transportation, or because they're old. AFAIK the orange tips of the props might get loose and even fall of for example - this might lead to props being unbalanced and motors being overloaded as a consequence.

Just getting round to reading these. I would certainly as advised by Tony to change your props 100% and see what happens, they may look ok but sounds like they are bent

Definitely will change them. I did put green master airscrew ones on they look good, but they definitely dont look as strong as dji ones. Thanks for the advice 🙏 😁👍👌 🇬🇧

Just put original props back on and all good, although master airscrew looks good in them colors there so poorly made wouldn't recommend them to anyone 😉
