You opened up a case with three motors, which is a bundle they should have offered..with 3 motors.. Camera rigging mods has a great set up for lidar using the counterbalance weight connector to your lws base plate. Just need to reverse the arm on lidar and it will shoot lasers under your Matt box, and doesn’t really ever need to be adjusted
good morning, I ask you a kindness when you hooked the DJ Focus Pro to the lens, the long one, how did you fix it on the lens itself? What is the name of that bracket can you give me link thank you very much
Finally some clarity on this units compatibility. So as a recent DJI RS3 Pro purchaser, you can simply purchase this new Focus Pro system and have the updated/improved lidar autofocus feature?
This system looks incredible. I might have to save up to finally replace my little Smallrig follow focus system. DJI is truly innovating this industry.
if you have connection behind a building means nothing for a focus puller. he/she has to see the actor/action plus the monitor may not have signal either so what's your point.
Thats not exactly the case. If you use the dji transmitter then your first AC can easily stay back and still have no problem pulling focus. The purpose of this is to test the range, whether youll use that or not thats up to you
Nice review 👍🏻 I saw you had a rubber band holding the nucleus-m motors to the lens & is the reason I stopped using it all together. I could never get the motors to hold the grip onto the gears firmly enough once I went into run-n-gun mode. Do you have the same/similar problem with these new DJI motors & can you tell me about your experience with it for handheld use?
Thank you, the locks on the motors seem very good, but again they're powerful motors so it depends if it'll hold it or no. I guess the rubber band is more of a safety thing to make sure they don't move. But they're good without it
So you don't need to put the lidar unit as close to the middle and end of the lens as possible? I was under the impression that it works best when centered above the lens and as far forward as possible...
You can set hard stops thru the handle but the motor itself its a wheel, it can calibrate your lens and create its own stops, unless ofc you're using regular photo lens then you need to set your own stops
Nucleus m handle, with the toggle and wheel you can focus, and zoom adjust with one hand while running. Focus pro is a crippled system for the single operator, running.
