DJI INSPIRE 3 CINEMATIC REVIEW | Is it worth $16,499? 

Not sure what led me to watch a review view on a 16 thousand dollar drone whilst working for 14$ an hour, but here we are

I've built my business on single op with the Inspire 2 and got the 3 when it was released. It's a game changer. Most shoots I'm matching the FX9 and you cannot tell the difference. It paid for itself in the first month. Great review! Killer shots too!

Spotlight Pro for the win!! Great review, Griffin. I'll add that Spotlight Pro on I3 (which you called active track in the video) is leaps and bounds greater than Spotlight/Active Track on any of the other DJI drones. I've played with tracking features on Mavic 3 and a couple other models and I was never happy with the results so I've always flown with full control of the drone and camera. Spotlight Pro on I3 was the first subject tracking software that actually gave me the confidence to hand over camera control to the software and just focus on flying. Despite how good Spotlight pro is for solo operating, if the crew is available to run Dual Op it is certainly the safer option given that there is the off-chance that spotlight pro loses the track.

I really appreciate all the work you did on this video but I wish you would have talked or shown some of the settings that you used for these shots such as what fps were you shooting in and is this cinema dng, ProResRaw, or ProRes 422 HQ? And did you use premiere fcpx or divinci resolve to edit this footage?

Your opinions here are spot on. Nothing worse than taking nice shots and the Drone shots are substandard. I have the Avata. Fun. BUT the image is weak. I also have the Air2. Way better image. Nice to see you still roll Canon. Not that it matters all that much nowadays. You can make most new cameras bang a good shot.

lots of common sense and good experience here... my only comment is this (and it apples to all drone ops).. when in any clustered, built up or forest type areas, this is what seperates the skilled and the tech.. knowing what and where the signal is safe and also having the means to get permits approved from authorities broadens the range of shots and degree of difficulty... once the drone is mastered, this then becomes the next hurdle in creating fresh and exciting shots... I would like to see you get a difficult brief for a shot and then show the steps in achieving it... which is in fact just the usual film making challenges... u know what I mean

My comment as a pure Hobby flyer is most people drive a stupid car they can not afford? Or have a stupid second car or a boat they can not afford , I do not see inspire 3 as expensive if you think about what people drive? Talking about money shows no passion!!!!! People act like thier car is so good??? Or have cars they can not put new tires on!!!!
